The more tests that can be rolled out the better the country will be able to manage this virus. This as well as the Omega tests will be good for the country. ROCHE contract will not be renewed after their six months is up, that's if they haven't been dumped already.

August and September will be key months in the fight against CV-19. Testing will be ramped up in preparation for the autumn and winter months where we could get a second wave. There will be multiple companies involved in the testing, so don't be surprised when you hear other companies being mentioned by the govt. Patience in Omega is required at this difficult time.

Antibody tests are definitely needed to find out who has had it, and to help in finding a vaccine. But in the short term we urgently need a quick fast antigen test that can pick up the asymptomatic carriers. That’s what the govt should be focusing on, quick fast antigen tests that tells you in minutes if you have it.

I'm surprised we held at 20p thought we would be lower. Looks like more of the same next week. I'll park this stock to the kerb and just wait, because I am not selling and lose 29% on my investment. I'm sure this will bounce soon as there's a lot going on behind the scenes.

It takes guts to buy when a company's SP is low because there's the possibility that the company is heading for a crash and burn. A lot of investors jump on when they see the SP heading North, then wonder wtf happened when it's stops and start heading South. DYOR, the patient and brave will always take from the impatient and lazy.

Absolutely Musey, I've been here since April and have bought most of my holding stake in the 20s and 30s. Since then I have bought in the 40s and 50s and sold in the 70s 80s and 90s numerous times and made numerous profits and that's with no news.

I never buy on a rumour, that's where you could get burnt, you have to dyr, and find out what plans the company has for the future. Sometimes you need to jump on a stock quickly, if you have no time to research then by all means jump on but make sure your coming in at the correct price, check your graph for entry points. My motto is always to buy low sell high, buy on a rumour only if the price is right.

I'm sure these are the ROCHE tests that they have stopped using. The article says only people who are asymptomatic are affected. People with flu like symptoms can still get tested. This means the RTC tests will be fast tracked through. We're nearly there now, and day now I feel.

I've been seeing lately a lot of people saying they have had the finger prick antibody test via the government website. I am sure these are the RTC tests being circulated. They are now very very close to approval and distribution. Strong hold.

The whole market is taking a bashing today, so I wouldn't read too much into today's SP. The recent Placing is stopping this from taking off. I still think we'll close on 62p. Solid news and we will be off and running.

If and when this Lateral flow test is announced, I wonder if America will announce they have a lateral flow test too, even though we know they are miles away from that? It seems the US and UK, are doing everything in sync. When one announces they have found a cure then so does the other, if one starts wearing masks, the next day so does the other. Sounds weird I know but it's something I've noticed since watching coverage of the pandemic on UK and US news. They make the same announcements within 24hrs of each other.

I am currently also invested with an American company going by the ticker code QLGN. They had an RNS today which said the following:

CARLSBAD, Calif., July 30, 2020 Qualigen Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: QLGN) announced today it has begun commercial shipments of its FastPack® SARS-CoV-2 IgG diagnostic test for COVID-19 antibodies. This test has been submitted to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for Emergency Use Authorization (EUA), and earlier this month the Company submitted an official notification to the FDA of its plans to exercise its right to commence sales while the EUA is pending.

The Fastpack in essence, is a "lab in a box" that allows test results to be delivered with the accuracy of large laboratories but much more rapidly. Unlike tests at reference laboratories, the FastPack tests are conducted in physician offices, clinics and hospitals, and provide results in approximately 10 minutes.

Now how weird is that? Something dodgy going on with UK and USA.
