athansius - apologies for the delay in getting back but I do have other things going on in my life other than discussing stocks and shares. AFC absolutely do produce Hybrid Hydrogen generators, I stand by that. These generators will be working alongside as well as replacing existing diesel generators.

These generators will initially need a diesel generator to work, but the idea is to have one diesel generator powering the Hydrogen generator which in turn cuts down on having other polutant diesel generators on construction sites, and reduce emissions caused by these diesel generators. These Hydrogen generators are mobile so can be transported to different sites. AFC have teamed up with a company called ACCIONA, who is one of the world's leading construction companies. They will be trialing the Hydgrogen generator on their construction sites. If trials are successful then we will see orders. So yes, AFC do produce/manufacture Hydrogen generators.

athansius how long have you been here? To make such a statement tells me you haven't been here very long, and haven't dyr. Please go and read RNS on 9th March and 12th February regarding Hydrogen generators. When you read them and fully understand them, please report back and let me know if you still think AFC are not producing Hydrogen generators.

I personally have knocked this stock on plenty of occasions, more out of frustration really. But I think the long term vision everyone had of Hydrogen and AFC playing a big part in renewable clean energy . is finally about to be realised. We mustn't forget, that AFC have passed the development stage and are now actually producing these fuel cell systems.

The latest contract wins with Forschungszentrum Jülich research centre and ACCIONA is very significant and will bring in much needed revenue into the company. These are big companies and could easily develop into huge contracts if the trials are successful. AFC are also producing hydrogen generators, and are involved in various other projects. Now would be a good time to get into this stock at a very cheap price.

F... me, Global City Theatres sells off a quarter of the company and no one has batted an eyelid. Surely this will have a negative effect on the SP

Everyday I keep looking at a threefold bag, tempted to sell, but holding firmly. September is going to be an interesting month with big news expected anytime now.

As one investor sells, another one buys up a larger amount. Should only affect the SP positively.

Surely after the first week of kids returning back to school, testing will need to be done on a lot of them, so we can learn more about this virus, and to find out who has it, and who are asymptomatic. What is this govt playing at? The tests are ready to go, they should be giving them the all clear now. Could get an afternoon RNS, we all know how Colin works.

It's not tanking. Nearly everything in my portfolio just took a dip including the ever reliable CINE and 4D. I think it's just the current market. We've also had a lot of sellers this week so it will dip. This is to be expected as the impatient ones will have offloaded, after the last RNS. They would have been disappointed that the RNS was of yet another DF, instead of solid orders.

But if it continues to slide the shares will get hoovered up for sure. It should start picking up again, but it may dip some more before it does.

DubleD - If I bought on the spike back in April, knowing just a couple of weeks earlier I could have got in the 20's, 30's, and 40's, I would be mad too. But you've had plenty of opportunities to sell and make a good profit since then. There was a point we were up in the 90's, but you chose to hold. There's no point constantly whinging at ODX's lack of news or sales now that were back down here in the 50's. Just learn from your mistake, get over it, and stop being so negative all the time.

Always remember the golden rule, buy low sell high and DYOR

News of the govt investing in these covid devices had ODX investors wetting themselves, with a lot of them offloading today, which is why the SP has dropped. They seem to forget that these devices will need to be trialed, which knowing this govt will still take at least a couple of months. The UK-RTC trials have been going for a good couple of months now and is in the final stages of completion. Any day now trials will be complete and validated, then production will start.

The minute we break through 60 and start moving up they will all start scrambling to get back on but will unfortunately have to pay a very high price. Hopefully anyone thinking of selling will see sense, and not come all this way only to throw it all away. Things could change very quickly, especially being so close to more news.

Even though I'm totally fed up with this whole testing business and the length of time it's taking to get them on the market, I have a good feeling we are going to have a good September here at ODX. I feel the light tree shake we got yesterday, is a promising sign of bigger things to come this month . The SP may dip, but strong patience is what is required at this testing time.

Getting involved with this unreliable, and indecisive govt, is beginning to look like the biggest mistake ODX has made.

Oggs I'm sure it opened on 22 but that's neither here nor there. After winning a contract in Germany, I expected a lot more than what we got yesterday. Not even a 2% rise after news like that, is very poor.

Ogggs - If you think jumping from 22 to 30p is a 55% rise, then you're really not that good at maths. I have stocks in my portfollio that has jumped up 10, 20, even 30 pips from RNS news, and contracts won. I was invested in SNG and in one day they went up 500%, so yes I do expect more from a company like AFC.

As I said in my earlier comment, I'm not knocking AFC as they are definitely one to watch for the future, but anyone looking to make money in the short term, AFC is not the stock for that.

I've been with this stock for over two years. It was recommended to me by a friend. If I knew back then what I know now about stocks and shares, I wouldn't have invested here. But this is certainly one for the long term. Shocking that this has hardly moved after yesterday's news. I suppose that's down to the recent placing, but I really was expecting to see at least 30 after yesterday's news. Very disappointing.
