Key point 'MCAP vs Estimated Profits'. Estimated profits is not Actual profits which is where the risk comes in. You have to be confident that the estimated will turn into actual profits, and at these prices the risk is low as long as UK-RTC contract is still in place.

SHAREINTHIS - At these prices even the Serpent is starting to wet himself. But truth is nothing has changed with Omega. But what I found worrying in this vid was news on the BMJ website that the Govt faces legal action over the £75m contract for antibody tests. This would suggest that something has changed and that the govt has back tracked on the tests. But CK sent out an RNS yesterday saying there has been no change. So as long as the contract is still there this is a great price to get in at. I wouldn't worry too much that the Serpent is now trying to sell out, It's always easy to sell on the dip and buy on the rise.

It bounced up yesterday because of the sheer volume of trades, nearly 30M. It dropped back down because the MM's know the true worth of the company. Orders orders orders, that's what we need for the MM's to regain confidence.

We are where we are because that is what we are. When we were in the 90's I thought we were overvalued. Here in the 40's I think we are undervalued. But we are where we are because no concrete orders are coming in.

Yes ODX has potential but that potential is not yet being realised, hence we are where we are. If we start getting some orders in the SP will start to move back up. The MM's work for ODX so I'm sure they are well aware of what is going on in the background and what we are worth. Until that second order comes in from the UK govt, and until we start getting some solid orders for the ABC-19, Mologic, PCR antibody, and Food intolerance tests the best we will see is around 60.

It is what it is until we get decent orders in, which will most definitely be very soon.

You maybe right. It all depends on the feedback from the first million antibody tests ordered by the govt, that is being rolled out. We should get news from that surveillance any day now. If successful I think a negative rapid antigen test will be used as a short term certificate for events where there will be large crowds such as sporting events.

A positive antibody test will be used for both short and long term immunity. The antibody test will be the real game changer if proved successful.

UK-RTC Statement



Omega (AIM: ODX), the medical diagnostics company focused on CD4, infectious diseases and food intolerance, notes

the press release issued today by the UK Rapid Test Consortium ("UK-RTC"), of which Omega is a partner, surrounding the recent press speculation on the AbC-19 Rapid Test and the data provided in the BMJ report.



The UK-RTC believes the press articles and related BMJ report puts a spotlight on the different types of antibody testing available and what their applications are, and the UK-RTC welcomes this. However, the UK-RTC has concerns with the BMJ research report and modelling methodology the full details of which are provided below.



The statement confirms that DHSC is satisfied with the performance of the test, as is the UK-RTC, and will continue to roll out the use of the product. Public Health England conducted an evaluation at the DHSC's request, prior to DHSC purchasing the product, and will continue to deploy the test for use in surveillance studies.

alamo55 - Best performer in MY portfollio. I've never bought shares in Novacyt. Try to understand what you read instead of trying to pick holes in a sentence.

I've jumped in and out of all types of stocks this year and ODX has so far been the best performer aside SNG. Even after this ridiculous tanking, the trade volumes has been good and people are still buying in. The announcement of the vaccine and the increase in antigen testing has hit this stock hard but I believe it will bounce back once antibody testing is ramped up. Winter is just around the corner. I would be very surprised if this doesn't start to pick back up.

I don't believe any of it. This test has gone through many trials over the last six months and has been approved by MHRA. The government has already bought a million tests to date, and will be ordering more. I always thought this stock was overvalued but 40p is ridiculous. This stock is worth at least 60p. With orders in the pipeline this should hit £1.50.

Vaccine or no vaccine antibody testing will always be required.

A lot of PI's invested in this stock because we were told that this was the Gold standard test with the highest Specificity and Sensitivity. PI's also invested because this test was approved by the MHRA. So are you now telling us this was one big lie??

Of all the stocks I have in my portfollio, EKF are bouncing back the strongest. Just goes to show that no matter what happens regarding Covid, there will always be a demand for our products.

As ORPH already have a contract with big German Pharma Pfeizer, I wouldn't be surprised to hear that we will be conducting the trials for the new vaccine announced on Monday.

When Monday's vaccine announcement sinks in and everyone realises that the vaccine wont be ready until March/April next year at the earliest, the pharma stocks that were hit badly will start to find their feet again. Back in the 60's by end of week and 70's next week, hopefully.

Another pointless RNS. An update on UK orders, Mologic, or India updates would have been far more appropriate.

Hate the LSE, tank the SP and shut down the chat. Will be moving onto proper stocks after this with just one or two good AIM stocks in my portfollio. AIM one big rip off.

I would have bought more ODX today but I'm heavily invested here already and don't like to place all my eggs in one basket. EKF already have a great product which they are selling all over the world and making millions. At the moment I have them just ahead of ODX. ODX still a good stock to hold onto though, they'll bounce back.

In two weeks this has dropped 100%.....unbelievable. I still believe it will bounce back but that's a big hit it's taken and it could be some time before we see £1 again. If it's any consolation most Pharma stocks took a beating today, all my pharma stocks slumped. I sold out my CINE shares for a small profit and bought in at EKF. EKF and 4D is the only pharma stocks I believe in right now, but I sold all at 4D some weeks ago for a 3 bagger. ODX are under achieving at the minute but I still think they'll bounce back. A nightmare day for ODX investors.
