Basically we now know for a fact that one of the largest companies in the world now has a direct interest in MYSQ. Puts a smile on my face - "The Board believes that our relationship with Tencent and its partners is strategically important for the Company and we hope to build substantially upon it." Very much looking forward to that part. Lets hope full release of mobile money is with us shortly. I've said it before its money that talks, but the company as a whole is heading very much in the right direction. Revenues up significantly, partnerships being formed, despite how the market appears to be seeing this, this is not a stagnating company. The unconventional company model is what I beleive the market has overlooked and as I have explained before may cause more explosive results. Good luck to everyone holding. It's disconcerting at times to see a consistent drip down but I truely beleive the staggering potential here will be realised in time.

I would have thought so. Unless any future partners ask him to give them up but it's unlikely the board will ask him to given his involvement to date. Really feel like we are on the cusp here. Might take a while longer but so many revenue streams are coming to fruition . Mcap is ridiculously low given where this company appears to be heading. We already have users which will all get a digi wallet straight away, they have no choice! International inward and outward remittances, advertising for Tencent, advertising for companies that want to flog products to people with money in their digi wallets, freemium games, app development outsourcing who knows what else! I will look forward to developments with Tencent will great excitement. New CEO without negative connotations too! Fresh start indeed.

It's hard not to get excited about this now. Tencent is one of the largest companies in the world and they appear to be showing their faces all too often here. Mobile Money and licence are on the horizon. Revenue up 74%. Some conversions to clear yes but neccessary to get full revenues from mobile money when it is released in full. Eric is gone.. We have Mr Chong whom from my first impressions looks like a well considered man with experience resolving the problems of growth. Hopefully he will have a greater focus on shareholders and this news rich period will certainly help give the market good first impressions of him and his actions. Massive potential is starting to be realised, the money licence will be the spark in my opinion. Then profitability and from there it's full steam ahead into a multi revenue sourced platform with multiple million users and JV or take over target. Happy to hold and wait for this to pan out :)

Yeah great lets take every negative phrase out of the RNS and remove all the phrases with and reasoning for that loss or positivity. Broadly speaking what you are saying is.. if a company had just bought a patch of land that had diamonds scattered all over it and all they needed to do was pick them up, worth well over 10 times the companies value and that company then used all of its current liquidity to buy that piece of land. Because that company was in loss at that point in time, you would not buy shares in that company? Hmm. It all comes down to whether you think this company is heading in the right direction. It may take time, maybe not but it certainly will be explosive when it happens.

Despite the timing of the RNS, my opinion is that the company's fundamentals are stronger than ever, 74% revenue increase from just games is not bad at all. Eric has previously said that the model of the company is different than others, as is the way things work in Myanmar compared to the west. He has also said it's about balancing the underlying growth of the company against the monetisation. (Growth is not something you can always put a figure on or demonstrate in accounts) We are still a relatively new company and for the people of Myanmar to put their trust in a product/brand enough to send their hard earned cash via a that product takes time. Introducing ourselves with freemium games, apps and social media is just the way to do that, which we have done until now. The company has not focussing itself on monetisation from the outset is the strategy that is most likely confusing the market but equally likely cause more explosive results when success comes. We have a huge user database already! We have been growing our brand and trust within a growing economy which is what any financial services product has to do. I see it like we have spent all of our time until now setting things up to enable us to make lots of money over making money, which most are frustrated by because they can't see what they want in the figures. However the switch will come soon with the instant introduction of the full release of the digital wallets and remittance services to all of our registered user databse (exceeding 20million in Dec 2017) which brings so many lucrative posibilities to the company.

If I am honest the revenues are better than what I was expecting. 74% increase in revenue in a year and we are using it to acquire a means to generate much more revenue through our own huge database of users. If we didn't buy Mypay these figure would look very encouraging but also if we didn't then we wouldn't have the massive potential the e-wallet and remittance corridors brings (and hopefully licence). Just look at the figures this is certainly a growing company in terms of its monetisation, the SP doesn't reflect that at the moment. But when that remittance and e wallet (and advertising) cash starts coming in that will change. As was previously mentioned in the interview back in May, the ability for a company to target advertising at those customers with cash available within their e-wallet is a very exciting and potentially very lucrative for all involved in addition. I'm fully expecting we don't get an RNS until early next week. When soft launch happened it was all over the Minglarbar morning page but we didn't get the update until a few days later. Not worried yet, looking at the popularity and professional look of the products and webpages I'm confident things will come good here. I've put a lil limit order on in case MMs try dropping it again today ;)

What I am hoping for is full release of remittances followed by a trading update demonstrating strong underlying growth and development of the company with some comments on the effects the remittances release and future prospectives (maybe even a user update). That is not unreasonable but would be killer ;)

I'm hoping the Banking licence and full remittance release and user update comes on the same RNS. Then consolidated by a trading update showing significant revenue increase from new games =Fireworks. At the moment it feels like the MMs dare not take this lower as this share is a coiled spring. Now's the time to take your positions. This is still a relatively young company and it's continued user number growth/revenues and corporate identity don't go unnoticed for long. There's a reason Tencent were sniffing around and that's because they like what they see... and look at their market cap ;)

I can't see why would it be effected by cryptocurrency markets? GB is not a cryptocurrency, its a digital currency backed by gold....

Yeah very interesting article. Seems others share my opinion, just the start for Goldbloc and Lionsgold. Happy to be locked in as this was always a long term hold for me, if you are nervous about the fundamentals of your investment then you shouldn't be investing IMO. Large world market here but to start off I'm particularly excited about roll out to the Indian market, using our existing relationships, once we've got a foothold in the UK

Clearly I don't beleive everything on the internet but 50,000 extra subscribers within a few weeks, not likes, means it pops up on 50,000 more peoples FB. Seeing mysq posts on games and remittance availablity, more people share, they share and so on. 500,000 followers is pretty impressive by any business FB page standards. This is still a young company and the focus has been on growing the user numbers and the becoming a well know trusted platform in Myanmar. The focus of the company now is to monetise and become self sustaining. I agree many feel frustrated with the SP with what seems to be disregard for shareholders but it doesn't change the fact the company is growing its fundamentals and appears very undervalued considering it is bringing out new (hopefully effective) ways of monetising the large user database. We'll see in the next 6 months or so I hope. Hopefully license will be here soon as I remember someone saying the application process should be around 90 days?
