What I say here has no effect on the SP - its not a share for trading anyway - the MMs and IIs are making sure of that.
Its obvious they're shifting shares around between them (the lack of volume, TR1s and extreme swings suggest this), some de-risking and some taking bigger positions, if it weren't for the games the SP should be in the low-mid £s at the very least. Should see a turn in the books once they're done.
The fundamentals i.e Phase II results, cash position, expenditure, pipeline, director holdings, II initial investment prices, look pretty solid- also check out the background of the HVIVO board (as well as SEEK) - you'll get an idea of where they want to take the drug/company.
Key milestones - The next set of data from NIH which should be due over the next few days/weeks according to the webcast. Any potential deal to license out the phase III's should add significant value (hopefully by the end of summer, but these things always take long) there are also some mosquito results due in this half of the year. I don't think they're looking for a buyout (yet anyway).
RE: Woodford, they have a huge fund and like to spread their bets, e.g. they have a 35% holding in RENE another pharma, but it should be a good sign
Probably best to switch off and wait for the deal, the entry price is currently really good, I'm hoping for multiple £s
Pharmas obviously carry risk so DYOR etc.
