They really should have just combined the two rns and released it together, would’ve curbed expectations but still well received IMO

What they’ve done is created a spike for sellers to cash out and then subsequently released a demoralising rns essentially saying oh we’re only settling as we don’t want the ongoing court costs in future…that and lack of royalty and then the Edison report doesn’t instil much confidence. Lower payout means higher legal share iirc….wish they would just take it to trial at this point

People talk about cash burn but that's completely normal for biotechs plus there's enough cash until 24' thats a LONG time for partnerships etc.

I think we'll get $400-600m historic damages and say $20 per unit of royalty going forwards... if that is 10m per year at increasing rates, $200m+ per year of profits for duration of patents

£3-5 per share on this litigation alone excluding rest of world and the rest of the business

Wow so a minimum of $6 royalty...but as high as $23 - $59 historically, the forward royalties will be TASTY with the increase in sales, not even interested in the settlement at this point

I've read up from 8-10 years expiry (but could be wrong), you will see the trajectory of the increase in sales, not to mention this validates our technology, the additional funds required for growth, touting other partners etc - it is already a growth stock that just needed the fuel lit IMO.

5x is extremely conservative for 10 years guaranteed bottom line....let alone the other aspects - you'd expect massive dividends yearly too.

This was the best possible outcome - let's hope the settlement stacks up to expectations

Indeed, those reading the times article and other outlets have barely scratched the surface. The touted 400-500m is for historic sales in USA only IMO. This doesn't account for rest of world.

But the real value is in the several years+ of royalty (straight to the bottom line profits) payments at increasing unit sales GLOBALLY. Add a basement multiplier of x5 to a basement $10 per unit to a basement 20m units globally.... that's already 1 billion + the historic damages payment, it's no wonder you see prices of £3-£10 being touted.
