Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Sailing in the blue? We couldn't even get a kite up in this wind.
We are still way down on our ATH.
People reading so much into an RNS they could come out with 6 washplants instead of 3. Option(s), there has always been a plural for options, one option is you sell land, the other is you mine it. There has always been more than one option, it's just the board has no control over having to mine it ourselves if we don't get a good enough price or someone to buy what we want to sell
Exciting times however Amryt aren't exactly the biggest company to be poaching from, actually an mcap similar to ours. Time will tell what experience the new CEO brings to push us to the next level and turn this dog back into a £8+ SP and half a bill company.
The majority of those are under 18, do you want to start vaccinating children and teenagers ?
What's the difference in letting weddings go ahead with 100+ guests and people going in and out of pubs with no masks on inside ? If you walk past a table or are sat next to another table you could equally catch covid.
Face masks on public transport would be fine, I agree.
Hmm, I think I'd rather the majority of the population live a normal life, yes its sad people die but how many fully vaccinated people are dieing that don't have underlying health conditions ? That's a question to ask.

So when do we end restrictions ?
We have all vulnerable people vaccinated, we have over 64% of the population fully vaccinated as it stands, that's likely to be near 75% in 13 days. We will have mutations for the next few years, we cant just live like this forever.
All we need is a good, solid lft test to be done twice a week by the population followed up by a pcr if positive, let's get back to normal. People contracted the virus still in the first lockdown and that was a ghost town, people will die from covid but we can't tell people to get vaccinated and still restrict freedoms, what message does that send for a booster jab or a future pandemic ?
Like I said, you're welcome to keep your distance and ask people to keep theirs.
Also, pay at the pump.
Life has already been delayed for over 13 months. Yes it's a shame people.will die but normal or a type of normality has to come through. If we are going to keep these measures in place why even bother being vaccinated in the first place.
Everyone has their views and everyone on Facebook is an armchair expert, if you think it's too soon and should keep a 2m separation and masks then feel free to do that and wear one. Even if certain elements are brought back in that's fine for winter but let's get back to some form of normality and life.
Has anyone got a live price ? I'd rather not phone up to check
It's a shame there are no figures attached, we hit .16 with the 500k contract and should still be in line for another as per previous RNS's unless this is the other 500k. I'd like to think we could see .14 today.
There's nothing to say we aren't in the mix and if I remember rightly we did sell to India back in the day (May) roughly. Its just that we wouldn't hear about it even if we did a £15 mill deal. All these positive tests must be coming from somewhere, I certainly hope we are selling in huge volume.
Why does it look that way?
Hopefully the delay in choosing a suitable Antigen test is helping to push ours into the limelight and a decision will be made soon. Omega to manufacture once decision is made.
"Further to the announcement on 11 February, regarding a contract with the Department of Health and Social Care ("DHSC") to provide manufacturing capacity for COVID-19 lateral flow antigen tests, the Company confirms that it is waiting for confirmation on which test has successfully passed DHSC's performance evaluations. The DHSC have recently stated that they are in the process of assessing which of these tests are suitable for home-use and thus can obtain the appropriate self-test approval. Once a suitable test has been approved the DHSC will license the test for Omega to manufacture. Omega is not in control of this process but will provide a further update once a test is confirmed."
From ODX today
Given the escalating infection rate in the country, this week India began to allow the import of certain COVID test kits with foreign registrations, including CE-Marking, without the need for ICMR approval. The country has also introduced pricing controls into the public market, setting a dynamic that does favour the provision of "basic" tests. The Company believes however that formal performance evaluation data and ICMR approval will contribute positively to commercial efforts and premium products such as gendrive's can play a part in the need for COVID-19 testing.
A small extract from their RNS, main point to note is the pricing controls in place by the government.
We should be proving it as fact and that he actually said those words, not guilty until proven innocent. The fact is many local elections are being held in the next couple of weeks and this is only serving a purpose to undermine the torys with lies. Let's face it he will not have said something like that in a room full of people.
I find it hilarious opposition supporters are now taking Daily Mail headlines as gospel.
Oxygen has already been sent as part of five shipments or seven I can't remember.
Great to see figures, it's a shame we didn't get an initial target of 1mil LFT tests per week within the RNS. A great money maker and big 6 months to look forward to.
Have you read any of the posts today ? We have just been awarded contracts under subsiduaries as part of the £3 bill tender!
If someone breaks contract you have every right to sue them for whatever you deem to be owed, that's why a contract is in place and if they follow through then great.
If anything you read that he posted wasn't factual then I didn't see you or anyone calling him out on it. At the end of the day it all looked promising, we all put the pieces together and came out with the same results or we all wouldn't be here and would have sold.
Instead of being angry with posters who had to scour the Internet for information we should be angry at the BOD and PR that this company has severly lacked, we should have been made aware of goings on long before this stage.
Don't forget one of our biggest customers was Germany last year, it just so happens they and the rest of the continent are seeing huge figures and in the midst of a third wave. I'm sure we will continue with £36+ mill in revenues for at least Q2/3 outside the UK Gov. Oh how I'd take a £6.50 get out now
Have you ever seen something called.... the news ?
On a positive note £36 mil from outside UK Gov contracts. Huge numbers of cases on the continent and around the world, £144 mil potential for the year and that's prior to increases in demand given the third wave much of the world is experiencing.
Maybe I shouldn't have topped up at £7.60, ah well still a profit
