LONDON (SHARECAST) - Cash machine advertising specialist i-design has followed up last month’s maiden US deal with its first contract in South America.
The AIM-listed company, whose technology allows ATM network owners to run both third party advertising and their own internal marketing campaigns, will deliver its atmAd solution across a network of about 500 ATMs for “a major bank” in Ecuador.
It will benefit from an ongoing revenue stream from fees relating to the use of its proprietary systems, which allow the management of ATM advertising campaigns.
Sites are expected to go live at the beginning of the fourth quarter.
“We are confident that the benefits of atmAd, which remains globally an unrivalled ATM advertising solution - capable of running on multiple ATM networks - will lead other ATM network owners in South America to explore the opportunity atmAd offers both for market positioning and new revenue generation,” said chief executive Ana Stewart.
“We continue to remain very positive about prospects for expansion both in the UK and internationally."
In April, i-design signed a big deal to sell ad space on behalf of US-based ATM network operator Cardtronics.
That contract covered about 3,000 ATMs, about 2,200 of which are located at retail sites in the US, and the rest in the UK.
