I've not been following for sometime. But I can't find my 1.8p divi due late March.
Was this paid, or have I missed a notification.?
Any help appreciated
These 2017 results look very good and hence earlier out than anticipated. Positive outlook. 20p short term
Interesting large buys in 2 days since results and back to 9.7 today also; near-on a year high. The results had an upbeat message but still wish to know how PIs will be treated v. the big shareholders.
AGM came and went and no news offered. Hopefully mfx continues to trade well and improve profits but lack of transparency and treatment of shareholders is poor.
Not sure what to do here. The loan notes should have been due for repayment on 28 March yet a decision has been taken to extend @4p conversion and 6.5%. The interest is high but not large in the scheme of the P&L. But £1.7m at 4p is I think 43m shares - quite a dilution on the now 102m issued. I'm sure our NEDs should have considered paying off these loans now.....
clearly either sleepy or a Mellon...............
Very good results but were tainted by the news 2 weeks earlier of a very advantageous deal to directors. The interest is only 111k perannum but the disregard for shareholders in favour of a couple of bankers does irk .
12 rand to the US$ now, surely there's a profit to be made soon.
I still dont get it. Why do our "other" directors and advisers think 6.5% is a good deal.
Clearly 6.5% is a good deal for Mellon et al. But is it really a good deal for mfx shareholders more widely. Is there not an alternative for a 2m loan cheaper ?
Big sale of 2.65m last friday at 2p =53k ! Interesting to see if any of the main shareholders offloaded.
I see the DM are doing their best to screw all the airlines with this over priced ruling. Compensation culture on this scale will be the death of cheap flights. And we can go back to the '80s and expensive shorthaul.... "Has your flight been delayed in the past six years? Here's how to claim compensation ... which could be as much as £480"
Aberforth increase holding again, up to 12%. I reckon at about 13p average......
Very positive again today on decent volume again. Anything brewing?
Excellent update. As usual DTG never over do it. No mention of reduction in fuel costs which must help all parts of the business. Hopefully no exchange cover ups like last year and these have all been flushed out. What is the profit figure expected to be exceded ?
Good results back in profit.
Good news about BoC loan, still only GBP30m after years of pain, also Aberforth have increase their holding to 11%. Must be a decent medium to long term bet here now. Hoping for 30p .
550k shares for 1.05m today and a slight rise in SP. Good to see a gradual increase since 180p on release of year end results. Still not sure how the hedging/exchange rate issue will affect future profits and am still baffled by the accounts and lack of transparency on this from last year. Hopefully business on all fronts is continuing to grow.
I thought the results were excellent and the reaction has been to the downbeat comment on the last 12 weeks trading. This will be reversed. gotabesirius gives a "sell" today yet on 23 May said "Looks to keep bouncing off the 200 day ma very strongly. This is a strong buy at 256p. follow me at #sharemyadvice" . Why the change?
Good article MinesJ thanks. I did notice this on a list of shareholders in IFL: (morningstar web) Aberforth Partners LLP 57,291,107 10.37 400,000 0.70 0.47 03/31/2014 J P Morgan Asset Man(UK) Ltd 29,745,594 5.30 28,894,100 3,393.34 0.17 02/28/2014 Aviva Life International Limited 21,265,468 3.89 It appears JPM have aquired 5.3% recently, Aberforth have upped their bit by 400k to 10.37% and Aviva still hold 3.89%. Not seen any RNSs on these changes?
