I sold my AFC holding some time back as I was forced to face up to the fact hat if they had anything worth buying it would have brought in orders years ago. I look in from time to time to check if things have changed, i.e if I should buy back in. What I see is the same old talk and hype, but still no orders. Conclusion? afc do not have a product that meets the requirements of the market.
Anyone who has worked in electronics will understand the new horizons that supercaps have opened up. Nothing will stop the world from exploiting these opportunities. And Cpx is right at the centre of things.
Even favourites like Ceres are down 10% yoday.
I sold my AFC holding about a year ago because I I concluded that if they had not sold anything after ten years or so,i t was likely that they had nothing worth buying. i.e. however impressive their developments might sound, these clearly did not meet the needs of any potential user. I am now interested to know if I should buy back in? Have things changed ?
I want to add to my 'free' purus allocation but Hrgreaves Landsdown will not take buy orders. Can anyone tell me a way to buy Purus? Thanks.
I hold Hex Purus by way of dividend from my Hex Composites. I tried to buy more Purus but Hargreaves Lansdown refused to buy from the junior market. Can someone please tell me an accessible broker who will ? Thanks. I was in ITM Power but transferred much of these funds to Nel due to their stunning sales record. This has certainly paid off, admittedly due to lucky timing.
Fantastic! This man's deep thinking has overcome the opposing effect of back emf by changing the direction of the associated magnetic field to act along the shaft? ? There's more too.
great emphasis was placed on reducing battery manufacturing costs, and that an important way of doing this was to replace wet electrode coating with dry electrode coating. reference was then made to their acquisition of Maxwell technologies and the dry coating technique that Maxwell provided. Is this not relevant to the Maxwell court case?
spent my working life in the electronics indust rys o I am familiar with conventional capacitors and what they do.The capacitances of these supercapacitors are mind boggling. In simple terms, with their low internal resistance and in the right kind of application, they would be able to deliver the most enormous pulse currents.and power. You don't have to be an electronics engineer o visualise some of the possible.applications e.g. electric vehicles . So in technical terms the future looks bright. As this is now my biggest investment in money terms, I just hope Cap x have the commercial skills to press their advantage home
Having spent my working life in the electronics industry ( now retired), I am familiar wit traditional capacitors and can understand the potential for super capacitors. Is there a brief summary anywhere of CPX's product range in terms of capacitance and voltage, apart from having to search through CPX' web site ?
Been here for 2 years .I am impressed by what they tell us they have, and I cannot fail to see the enormous potential in the present environment. But I am concerned that I see not a sign of meaningful interest from potential customers. Why not ?
For much of the time, shares go up and down for reasons we cannot fathom, often defying all logic. Currently, however, we have the clearest possible reason to expect all markets to take a serious dive. CORONA s there for all to see and it is not rocket science to understand that its presence will make it impossible for the world of business to carry on as normal. I sold around half of my ITM holding, but I confess I found it difficult in the extreme to bring myself to press the button. Common sense tells me the worst is yet to come before recovery is likely.
We don't like to listen to the tings we don't want to hear. I think ITM has a great future. But that doesn't stop me from recognising that Corona is just at an early stage and must have a significant medium term impact on things financial. I therefore sold half my holding at 127and will repurchase when Corona has passed its peak.GLA The best is yet to come.
Hi whatabout. Thanks. I think green H2 will, over time, be unstoppable. Properly implemented, it ticks every possible box. But I want to spread my risk between H2 companies. It seems the H2 market likes what NEL is offering. It llooks like I will also have to go through Hargreaves.Mikecc
