bentnose, I was just reading through your post from last week. I do actually remember the conversation. I don't know much about GGP as I have never held there. I note that they now have a market cap of £ 903 million ! ( wish I had invested some of my cash there, hindsight and all that.)
what I would like to ask from anyone who knows GGP in detail, is firstly have they any confirmed resources/jorcs etc. If so what are they in terms of ounces. Also If they haven't what are they potentially hoping for in that regard. Have they got 15 times what we have, because that is the difference in market capital valuation. I am just interested to see what the actual comparison is. thanks.
A lot of people seem to put a lot of importance on having Sng receive a peer review before we can progress. I honestly don’t know if that is the case I must admit, I am torn when I read alternative views to that requirement. I do think that as an investor here I would like to know if we are to have one, has it actually started. If it has shouldn’t the company at least inform us of that. It could easily have been mentioned in the half year update. I am not berating the company but would I like to know.
I wonder under the exceptional circumstances, how long that will take. This has always been used as a stick to beat us with immediately following the July 20th trial results, that and the small numbers involved in the trials.
If you believe in the story, then it is difficult to pick a selling point £ 2, £ 2.5 etc when you believe it will go much higher.
I can understand that the market may be disappointed with the update yesterday, but I would strongly hope that that is not the only result of the work done in the last 2 months. We would have to think that there must be a massive amount of work being done also on getting this drug up to approval stage. which hopefully will be the next news. Otherwise what have they been doing all this time ?
Disappointing day from a share price point of view following the recent daily drops. My own consolation at the moment is in the market cap of the business. If this progresses the way today’s Rns tells us it hopes to, then will it be worth more than today’s market cap. I think we all know the answer to that, multiples in my opinion. I have now changed my strategy here, in that I am tucking these away and see what develops in the weeks and months to follow. I did at one point in July think it may have had an approach and I would get out with a nice profit and no future worries. But it is clear the company directors want to see their project through to completion, which is fine by me.
Just had a quick skim through as I have to dash out, looks great.
Is just a partner to help distribute the drug ?
If so, are we to get an update as to where we actually are with the status of SNG0001, ie more trials or eua etc.
Qd22, agree. That is what I am getting at in my post below. The only test I am aware of that is still officially going on is the home trial. Surely they won’t be asked to start a test now more than 2 months on from the initial results. That would take months and end up missing most of the upcoming winter. More likely imo that emergency use will be issued in conjunction with a side by side test at the same time.
Dumbpunter, take your point re trials etc. So apart from the unfinished home trial of a target of 120 patients are we definitely undergoing any more trials today. If we are has that been notified to the market. I am confused as to what we are officially trialing at the moment other than the home trial, thanks.
As everyday goes by there seems to be more and more positive medical and press commentary on our product. It does make me feel that this is going to massively blow onto the scene soon, it's too important not to. From that perspective I would have thought between government and big pharmas the easiest thing to do would be to throw a few billion at us and take over from there with all the glory that would go with it.
Hindsight's a wonderful thing. I suppose everyone wishes they had sold out at 2.50 and now able to buy back in at these levels again. The trouble is none of us know when the next news will drop with a risk of missing another big rise.
Oilornothing, the drug in the hospital test reduced the chances of going in intensive care/ventilation reducing the severity of the disease etc by 79% , it doesn’t stop people from catching it, so it can’t be classed as the end of the pandemic.
Oilornothing, i don’t buy into that theory, but I can see why people may think that way. I don’t think Boris is going to say we have approved a drug called SNG001 that should drastically reduce hospital/intensive care admissions and then everyone is going to ignore all the new rules. It’s no different to when they have announced potential vaccines or other therapeutics, people didn’t suddenly relax. They only relaxed because this government eased the previous lockdown rules. I personally think any positive news Boris can lay his hands on he is going to use in spades. I think the majority of people see another drug announced on the news and probably don’t even think about it the next day. After all a lot will say they’ve heard it all before etc. As soon as he can announce it he will imo.
.
Chrishar, I didn’t say nothing was happening. More like intrigued to know what has been happening. This is probably the most exciting prospect of a share I have ever been involved with, just trying to think of every possible scenario.
HardToHandle, I agree it is very baffling why this wasn’t taken up after results day and put through for emergency use or start another trial if that was what we had to do to satisfy the regulators. I know at the time we would have probably had to organise that trial to be done in the USA because we would have had trouble filling it here. It is 2 months on Monday since the results, I for one am intrigued to know what has actually been happening in that time. I do hope some deals will be announced shortly.
Dibs, I tend to agree. To me it is the most logical explanation for the time it has taken. Big things happening behind the scenes imo and this company is good at keeping their cards close to their chest so to speak. It is too good of a product to ignore.
