Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
As frustrating as it is waiting for the start, the main thing for me is that it has been planned meticulously to make sure everything goes according to plan. I want it out there as soon as possible like everyone else to save lives, my investment will take care of itself down the line.
Yeah it’s your money pal, just a bit strange that why you wouldn’t have cashed in after phase 2 and COPD results at over £ 2 plus. On that basis I am assuming you expect the share price to better that from now on in.
If I had been invested in here since 2015 and specifically for COPD which the poster doesn’t seem impressed with, then I think I would have sold out at 2.40 ish which has been readily available after phase 2 and COPD results. That bit I find strange, everything else, time will tell. Merry Christmas.
Well according to my calculations Geodrill have been issued a total of 9,998,666 shares, which is around 2.5% of the shares in issue. Most of those shares are above today’s price so if they have been selling, especially when we hit 19/20p, then perhaps they will stop for now until the price goes up again.
Not sure about the technicalities and the ‘un-aim’ bit.
But this is very much typical of IRR and has been for years, so nothing surprises me anymore as far as this is concerned.
We shot up to around 48p in 2017 and has continued to drop ever since. Every rise has always been sold into. Every positive RNS has ended up a damp squib. Even the much vaunted Lithium resource RNS passed with a mere whimper.
So to me there is nothing extraordinary about what is going on at the moment, because it has always been like this!
Agree SM, but I will be honest even with a decent resource figure I’m not expecting fireworks here, as it always fizzles out very quickly.
the share price performance is abysmal.
a lot of us long term sufferers need a bag or 2 just to break even !
They have been being part paid in shares for their work for a well over a year. So if they decided to sell some a few weeks ago at say 19p, then why is that insider trading ? Now they have put another bill in they have again been paid or part paid with shares. Surely they can sell some when they feel necessary.
“The other week it was Geodrill selling!!”
Why couldn’t that be the case ? Allocated shares at say 13/14p sell them at 18/19p then get another shed load today at 13p.
with no announcements regarding commencement of trial. Last full working week before Xmas next week. 2 months passed now since the capital raise and we still don’t know exactly where we are up to. I watch on tv that despite lockdowns there are 500/600 poor people passing away due to covid every single day. We have been sat here for months with a therapy that almost certainly would have saved many of those people. I have never been has baffled and frustrated as to why this is the case. What has taken all this time since July ? It is bordering on criminal imo. Rant over!
Be nice to get some updates this week regarding phase 111 and maybe home trials.
I know we cannot expect an RNS every 5 minutes, but we have had very little in terms of any news since the placing in October and confirmation of the peer review. Would be a disappointment if this trundles on up to xmas without an indication of where we are at.
Wiltsinvestor, I tend to agree. Given that is the case do you think in these circumstances that II,s would be giving the brokers and RM some stick, or do you think they just accept the situation and say nothing. I don’t know what would be a typical reaction from them if any.
I haven’t read through here the past couple of days, so this may have been mentioned previously. But just looking at the placing , collectively the investors would be around £ 50 million down at the moment on today’s price. Quite staggering really. Not being privy to what the protocol is when a company is trying to raise funds at this level, but I would assume that they would have to present to big investors an excellent case for making a large investment at £ 1.75, I wonder now if any of those investors are venting concerns to SNG or their brokers and what RM,s reaction to that would be. As has been said before everyone must have known about potential vaccines, and even with the potential still to make a return on their investment the fact remains they could have bought at today’s price less than 2 months after the placing. I wonder if they are putting some pressure on the CEO and if so what he would be doing if anything to pacify them. I know we could say tough luck, but this is probably quite unprecedented for such a big raise to drop like this in such a short time. He would have to issue over 100 million shares now to raise that amount, nearly double.
'chat room dribblers'
Or = more than patient long term (5 years) investors, who will have bought at more than today's price back then
sorry, I thought a chat board was a place where investors could come and vent their feelings either positive or negative!
What is the expected timeframe for one of these assets to be sufficiently developed then ? Any ideas ? Are we talking months or years.
As I trudge into my 5th year I was rather hoping I would be in profit by now rather than over 50% down.
