There will likely be a pullback this afternoon as traders take their weekly profits and exit. I feel that Kodal will weather this without too much fuss this time due to the current momentum rather than see the SP tumble as might have happened in the recent past.

Rob, that difference in communication is probably reflected in Hainan being 80% up over the last year while Kodal is 10% down...

There wouldn't be much point as the spod price doesn't seem to be much of an indicator as to what our paymasters Hainan will decide to pay us.

I would say that the presence of the Mali government as a stakeholder should help us get a fair price for our product. They won't want to see their resources stripped simply to provide Hainan a bigger profit...unless they are benefitting aswell!

Surely Hainan want the spod, their profit is going to be made refining that back on Hainan island.

Would any offer be for 49% of Kodal UK, so shareholders wouldn't necessarily get anything for holding Kodal minerals shares unless by a special dividend? So multiples of shareprice or shareprice of Kodal minerals being supressed is surely irrelevant, 1p / 2p might be pie in the sky. I can only see any attraction in Kodal minerals to Hainan would be the expertise to repeat the exploration and development on another project and as they seem to have been deeply embedded in this plant's construction i would question whether they may not have already gleaned much of the knowledge they woyld seek (the photo's / press around mine opening/ licence being granted were strong from a Hainan perspective even if weak / late from Kodal's side?) I guess i'm asking what do Hainan need your shares for?

I think the rest of the % was a token amount, i seem to remember it was somewhere 2.5-3.5m byt that is only my memory of of it striking me as paltry at the time. Somwone here will remember better than me.

Does Kodal have a nominated advisor for AIM, perhaps the 21.3 / 24 issue could be cleared up by them if they have approved the RNS?

Some of that stockpiled spod will have been sat out in the elements for 10 months, surely its not unrealistic to expect some degradation over that time?

I am not making excuses, i'm firmly in the camp that believes things 'happen to' kodal rather than being effectively managed. The timescales involved should not be as much of an issue going forward is some consolation.

Interesting piece, i did note the part about the increasing cost of standing exploration land without working it resulting in more turnover of prospects. Generally optimistic outlook for copper?
