Do you think think that this 'ace' might steer Kodal away from gold in favour of more Lithium projects. I interpreted as such from an answer in BA's recent Q&A but that quote seems to suggest that may be the favoured route?

In your example wouldn't it be more like the garage was worth 100m and now that it's nearly built the risky Ferrari project it's now being valued at about 60m. In that example I don't think it's unreasonable for investors to question how the manager of the garage has allowed that to happen and what reasonable steps are being taken to rectify the situation and deliver value for it's shareholders (get back beyond the 100m)?

So Hainan will doubtless have access to the contents of the resource update and it could therefore steer whether or not / nature of any offer. We shareholders wouldn't be party to that information to be able to make an informed decision whether to accept?

For a project that's biggest usp is the 'fully funded" line that is attached to evey communication needing a fund raise would be bitter pill?

I doubt 'expected' will get used again any time soon as that implies control and not just having things happen to you. Bernie would just be setting himself up for a fall giving us an expected time frame for the electrical / generators arriving. Surely once bitten twice shy.

Rio tinto bought arcadian? atva premium of 90% and I think that was seen as a good deal. Our peak sp over last 2 years is 0.88 a 90% premium to that would be 1.67p, the forecast was between 1.55 - 1.85 I think when I bought initially so I think I'd be happy-ish around that figure.

It's a very broad brush video missing alot of already readily available details such as Hainan being Kodals partner and therefore not keeping the lithium out of the dastardly Chinese hands at all. Not sure tax revenue from the mine is going to fund the entire government spending of the Malian regime either, it is a little heavy on drama for my taste but I guess that's the you tube entertainment angle.

I can't help but think that the license transfer will be the catalyst. As much as I have every confidence personally I accept it is an unknown and the market doesn't seem to like that generally.

Those are eu rules? I guess they would all be as big as is available mainly 44t . Manufacturers max weight is often not the same as the eu max for operation on public highway, think oversize loads in the UK for example.

My reasoning about the lithium price pressure is that Hainan i believe agree to pay market price in their agreement with Kodal. Should that price triple their input cost for their plant also increases dramatically? Acquiring the whole mine surely guarantees cost price spod (and low cost in our case) that Hainan can plan reliably to feed their processing plant. Higher Lithium price as an input cost might make a buyout attractive if your only interest in it is feeding the next step in your production of a more valuable commodity? At these lower prices the savings for having their own mine against buying from the market are small, as the price rises there must be a point where the savings effectively pay for the deal to buy the mine out? I feel like I'm missing something important though?

I personally think that the timing of progressing to phase 2 production and the capital outlay involved in that will be the deciding factor on Hainan acquiring the remaining interest in the mine. If Hainan want to go faster with that than Bernie it may prompt a buyout in my opinion. I agree with Laverda that the relatively low Lithium price won't be exerting much pressure at the moment. Just my musings.

I assume that 33 hours refers to before the end of July for an update from Bernie, construction update if I remember correctly. I think the logic being Bernie is usually so good at sticking to his promises that one could set a watch by him!?
