Resignation of Consultant16 Jul 2021 12:41
People who have been working together for, and go back years, don't just fall out over something minor. Nine times out of ten, it is far more serious than that. If it's ill health, that's another matter. However, I honestly believe, although I can't prove it, that he has resigned because he doesn't agree with the direction CB is taking the company in. Don't get me wrong, I have shares in the company - currently 350,000, but did have as many as 750,000 six months ago. The main reason I sold, was that CB stated in an interview that they had enough money in the bank, that they didn't have to do a fund-raise. What does he do shortly after? Does a placing to raise more funds at a vast discount to where the share price was, above 4p or slightly lower. Also, he insists that he's speaking to potential JV earn-in partners, which has been going on for months, but uses the CV-19 'scamdemic' as an excuse. Yes, he needs to prove through the drill bit, and funnily enough one of the rigs is called Midas, that coincides with my nickname Midas, but he would do so much better, even if he has to give away a percentage of a licence/discovery to a major for a decent amount of investment, it would be so much better for ECR and it's shareholders. Being a substantial investor in Greatland Gold, I know what I am talking about, as do other investors in ECR who also hold both stocks. It's the only way forward under the current climate. So, in summary, I think that's what the falling out is about.
