Hi
First time posting on the board!
I am an EUA investor and I’m holding until the end; no pond life Bot will infest my consciousness and lay doubts to make me change my mind! So I took advantage and topped up again today!
I have some musings to share after reading the write up in this link. https://time.com/6109375/russia-cop-26-climate-spoiler/
(maybe barking up the wrong tree but conjecture generates debate and alternative thinking).
- Putin is not attending COP 26 in person, but a Russian delegation will be there.
- It is intimated that Russia have a lot to lose from any agreement to rapidly de-fossilise around the globe, their economic plan is heavily dependant on being one of the top, if not the number one exporter of fossil fuels (the sale of fossil fuels makes up 36% of their economy)!
- Therefore: they will have to defend their position and do their utmost to slow things down, so robust resistance is anticipated!
So here is my thinking!
- Russia will not want to be seen as an outsider in the global community effort in tackling climate change and stand out as the ‘party pooper’.
- Will they need a ‘big announcement’ at the summit to offset their ‘resistance’ to fossil fuel reduction and show the world that they are a player in tackling climate change?
- What could that announcement be? Is it feasible that the creation of a new ‘huge’ PGM district is going to be announced? Will Russia demonstrate that they are going to power the world to a hydrogen/electric future by revealing the master plan.
- Therefore: does this explain the radio silence? Would anyone dare leak information/news and suffer the wrath of Mr Putin?
- And does ‘shortly’ take us to COP 26 and thereafter EUA can make some announcements?
Flaw in my thinking: don’t think Mr Putin may care what the world thinks about Russia!!!!
Just having lunch break and caught this on the BBC news website, I'm amazed by how many new car company's are emerging.
Apologies if this has already been shared

Hi allNot a poster to be honest but thought I would share this:https://www.powerof78.com/2021/03/27/eua-alta_traako-guest-post/Since I bought in I've been reading this board everyday; there are great posters on here and I've enjoyed every minute of the outstanding research, humour and faith most of you have contributed. You all deserve the greatest rewards. ??
Morning all
Come across this from yesterday.

Thank you Castiron, same to you.
Hi all this is my first post on this board.
I have no doubt that the cannabinoid market is going to be huge and it will have mainstream acceptance and approval. I bought in on MGC due to recent experience: My wife has always been a migraine sufferer ever since we've been together (30 yrs), she usually has three of four migraines a week, usually in the early hours and has to get up and take ridiculously expensive pills provided by the NHS. I persuaded her to try CBD oil as a shop in town recently opened up, its been three weeks since she started using the oil........she hasn't had a migraine!!! I'm quite a reserved and level headed person but this has totally blown me away!!

Hi all
Just been having a lockdown lazy sunday afternoon and finally got around to watching 'Becoming Warren Buffet', three years after I initially intended to see it.
There was a clip of Warren wearing a See' s baseball hat from 1972, he bought the company and subsequent headlines have said 'Warren Buffett's favorite business is a little chocolate maker with an 8000% return. Here are 5 reasons why he loves See's Candies'.
I'm hoping that this is divine intervention and an omen following the SP rise!!
It looks like the time has come where this SEE's 'candy' is in great demand and the sweet shop is getting fuller and fuller with customers......... that baseball cap was definately meant to be seen.... i'm sure. Well hoping lol

PM talked about the shape of things to come four months ago and has now given us a glimpse of the part See intend to play, this keeps my faith.
Driver monitoring systems (DMS) are making a pivotal contribution to road safety, both in commercial truck fleets and passenger cars. These systems use a driver-facing camera to evaluate the driver’s state of alertness. If it detects fatigue or distraction, it sends a warning or alert. In partially automated vehicles, the system notifies the driver when a vehicle-initiated handover is required.
“It is now well accepted that camera-based DMS is the most appropriate way to directly track driver drowsiness and distraction and perform safe, vehicle-initiated handover in semi-autonomous cars,” concluded ABI Research analysts in a recent study of driver and in-cabin monitoring systems….the

Apologies if the link to this study in Korea has been posted before, but it's a great read.
Perhaps our Dep't of Transport and the RAC should read it........the conclusion - 'The driver’s attentiveness is the primary element for safe driving. Distraction and fatigue are the main causes of road accidents'.

Hi Guys
In the last 24 hrs a few things have piqued my curiosity which I would like to get your 'take ' on.
I was on a TEAMS call with a young colleague yesterday who was telling me that he has sold his See holdings (made a tidy sum by all accounts) and has gone all in on Tesla. By what he was telling me it is obvious that he has spent a lot of time researching and monitoring developments in Elon's auto realm.
Aside from the amazing development work they do on battery technology , it sounds like the AV goals are still full steam ahead based on their algorithms evolving from real time, real world data harvested from their cars on the road (don't know if that's true though). So basically, on par with what See are doing, with data gleaned from the fleet business.
He then went on to tell me about Tesla’s links with Tencent who are also one of their investors (4% stake), and how Tesla are looking at the revenue streams that could be generated by capitalising on occupant’s spare time while travelling in their self-driving cars. We already know that arcade game play is already available in the cars and that headlines last year proclaimed ‘Musk is apparently brokering deals to put video games into Teslas’.
So here are some points swirling around in this wannabe analytical head:
• A post this morning has reminded us about a Honda Jazz at See headquarters, wasn’t it already spotted by the eagle eyed few, that in another picture/video a Tesla was seen being attended to by SEE Technicians?
• Elon’s biggest headache of late been the criticism of driver monitoring in Tesla cars, which deep down the company know that at least in the short term they will need to sort out for legislative and commercial reasons (they wouldn’t want to be seen with inferior DMS to competitors).
• Would it be reasonable to think that if Tesla were to sort out their DMS then they take the opportunity to equip their vehicles at the same time with the capability for occupants to be fully immersed in game play (Virtual reality) instead of arcade standard game play.
• With the Colin Barnden write up in EE Times emphasizing the fast moving developments in infotainment would be dare believe that SEE have become so integral in the mix that it’s inconceivable they will not be in Tesla’s as well?
Don’t post very often, but as I wasted an afternoon yesterday after the TEAMS call and didn’t get any work done I though I would share my curious musings.

I have been a silent observer/reader of this board for a number of years and a long time investor of SEE. The time, effort and commitment by you guys to research and share information on this board is incredible, although you may not hear from us the - hidden believers, I can assure you we do appreciate your hard work in navigating the SEE journey for us.
