I wasn’t sure if that was Quint going all in or the other pleb taking his average down to 1.4p. Didn’t realise it was you Mat. The big spender. Lol. It has to be Freetrade or something where you can buy shares for free and just use spare cash in your wallet. I’ve also got shares in Freetrade…….they are pretty good …
Would never have imagined people would be getting excited about the share price nearly reaching 2p. When they get their first lot of cash the will have 1
1/2 million or so to invest. Use it wisely Ed.
Yea it is certainly cheap SP / NAV. There is a reason for that. What we need is a catalyst. Leap was thought to be the last chance....then failed.....Still have a couple of large holdings that could significantly increase the NAV....but I do think it would really have to be a large increase to see even the smallest increase in SP.......It's here because of years of failure., lies from the BOD and very poor investment decisions.
Agree Mat. I don't think the first lot of cash will make a huge difference . They will need a million of that for wages and expenses until they get the next possible payment as they are running on fumes. They need a huge increase in NAV from god knows where and a change of sentiment towards the BOD. Don't think either of that is close by. If they were that clever they could liquidate the fund and maybe get 7p a share for the shareholders. Then raise again through Ed's private capital company for anyone that wanted Ed and co to manage their investments.......Also not going to happen, Ed's 150k a year for a very part time job here...........Oh well its Friday
What about Saladino. Lorne offloaded £2m worth of shares at 17p. 5 years ago now. Even at this level he hasn’t bought any. Though it has been stated he would be better off selling them down here and using the write off tax. Rather than thinking they could ever make it back to 17p in our lifetime
Yes still holding, foolishly. Never rated the BOD, though have liked a couple of the investments over the years. Also tell it like it is. This has and is an absolute pos. though at this price I do really see a possible 4p in the next year or so. Though I could lower my average, it has reached a point where I've had enough of their failures...Leap was the last straw. I've called it right so many times over the years, while those predicting £50 a share by 2020 are nowhere to be seen...LOL
That same director had been ramping this saying it would have a £50m mcap by the end of the year.....last year......Shares continued to drop another 50% when that started to look highly unlikely. Then they dropped another 30% or more after announcing the sale of Leap, Everyone thought there was value at 4p when the NAV was 8p and Ed was saying the NAV would go up to 25p a share. and here we are at less than 2p....
Well even with the first lot of Leap money the NAV will be just under 8p. There are a few well run funds that even in these market conditions have share prices on par with their NAV. Like many have said its all down to sentiment here. Years of failures left people hanging on for Leap, then when that failed to deliver most lost hope. That's why its down here.
