I’m still gutted I didnt offload some at 25p. Missed the 30p. That was over in minutes. But did get a quote for 25p and didn’t take it. Live and learn.

Wad I know you have interests in Mellons investments, he has around a dozen or more companies in one form or another mainly on aim. What do you think about the gambling one ? Near half a billion a year turn over and Mcap of �3m just starting to turn a profit now. Share has just dropped for last couple of years but turnover increasing year on year around 40%. He reckons it will have a turnover of over a Billion within 3 years. and it has mcap of �3 million Just curious if you have this one as well

Nuuvera worth nearly £10 million to us and quoting 18.35 To buy. Bargain.

We might get a bit of a boost with an RNS later. But tbh it’s news we were all expecting to hit on the 20th. Might still get a small boost from those that haven’t noticed ffwd yet. Lots more still to come

Isn’t it just under £10m doggo. It’s 0.3546 x 3 million that’s 10630800 X 14.75 Aphria. Share. That’s 15.7m cad. Plus the 0.6 cad per share that’s 1.8m cad. So that’s around 17.5 million cad. That’s about 9.6 million pound

Hopefully the sp starts heading in the right direction again. Our stake in Nuuvera / Aphria alone worth nearly £10 million. Maybe with some news from Factom or another it will rise.

Funny. Just read an article from exactly 2 years ago about FFWD increasing their stake in Yahoo. This caused ffwd’s share price to rise by 12% to 17.6p. Unbelievable the position Ffwd are in now ( with actual listed companies and cash offers and much more ) and they are the same price as what they were 2 years back. Wish I had the foresight to cash a few in when they nudged 30p in January and bought back when cheaper. Can’t believe they are at this price. They had been in the 20s over 2 years back.

Haven’t seen any revenue figures from yahoo since their early raise - Year end 2015 the figures were For the nine months ended 31 October 2015, Yooya had revenue of US$153,000 and incurred a trading loss of US$622,789 for the period. As at 31 October 2015, Yooya had total net liabilities of US$566,758. This was when the monthly viewing figures were less than a quarter of their latest figures. The following year 2016 they said they had almost doubled revenue from previous year . Since then they have had a huge increase in viewers - and hopefully revenue . The revenue could now be huge multiples of that. Just a shame there is next to no news. Are they busy planning an IPO. ?

Lord S. I think the share buyback is based on that they can only purchase an average of 25% of the shares traded daily. Averaged over a month. Though we haven’t had any buys from them by the looks of it lately. It’s below 18p. Surely unless they believe it will drop more they should be buying right now

You would think they would be buying back now below the 18p they quoted as being the maximum they would pay at this time Before any news that may be due which could raise the sp.

This is an odd situation. On every offer for a company I’ve seen the sp would be pretty much the same as the offer. Say if provident was offered £10 a share as a takeover bid announced at 7am tomorrow the shares would open at around £9.90. Before a single share had been traded. I bought into this a couple of years back and just got my money back after it’s last suspension which lasted forever. That rto failed to materialise. They keep showing all their assets etc yet no one would give them the cash. Their past history hasn’t been the best and I take it that’s why the sp is still way off the offer price. The last article on share p r oo hets about them also showed their typical background. Good luck to those holding. Hope it turns out ok this time. Just strange the price is so far from the value of the offer.

The brokers originally said it was the fault of ffwd. But ffwd rectified it. Barclays are just pretty crap all round. I had an account years back. The only good thing then that I found was you could choose your settlement days. So you could buy and hold for a few weeks and sell hopefully make a profit without using your cash. Other than that. Yes crap.

Ffwd have rectified the issue with 5 brokers who didn’t have the paperwork they required, Barclays have been dragging their heels. Years back they told me I couldn’t have a real time online trading account for the US. As it wasn’t available by any broker and was telephone only. Half an hour later I had one. They are crap.

Yes from what I gather you can’t trade over the phone either. I think there are a few more like the share centre and Halifax that are in the same position.
