When the big players decide to shift the price the private investors will have to pay the rerate or lump it. It's not the PIs who are determining the price, it's the PIs who are selling their silver at a knock down price to the IIs and MMs only to see it rocket when the time comes and then realise they have missed the boat and been had over. As I mentioned the other day, they won't see it coming until it's happened.

Institution would much rather have clean, virgin, ESG compliant coins with the requisite provenance and chain of custody to prove it as opposed to coins which could be dirty and tainted. Arb are the only miner in the former category, making them the no risk play as opposed to the others who been blindsided by this move. Makes complete sense.

I know and I agree. You make a very valid and important point and absolute blinder is an appropriate term of description. The IIs have to be seen as squeaky clean and it also gives them a superb usp to sell their clients on as well as develop ESG Compliant BTC ETFs. It's a peach of a move and PW has stolen a march over all other miners with this announcement.
