As much as I agree with many posters below about Beetham, it does not mean he's not dead right about this.
There's been speculation for several weeks of an imminent NC takeover. Many big players will have been buying stock, potentially over different accounts to simply accept anything NC offers as it will likely be a big premium to any share price. That way they are in and out quickly with a huge premium. They don't care about the long term value of the company and are happy with a big 1 month profit without lots of swings and risk.
Gold is likely going to go through the roof as governments around the world are getting into unplayable debts without printing like never before.
NC need this because of telfer.
Haveiron gets bigger by the month and is now getting close to scally which makes the value of that go from close to zero to astronomical figures. The reason for this is because ggp are in a way stronger position now than when they sold 70% of haveiron to NC. If they were to do a deal on scally and the other licenses, it would be many, many multiples better than what they got for Haveiron. They could even afford to pay for drilling themselves these days in cash + potentially a little equity would do no harm with a 300mn+ market cap.
Haveiron has been significantly derisked in recent weeks.
All of this together makes previous forecasts of 10p a joke and the value could well be 10x that and still be cheap.
Many longtermers here deserve a much higher and fairer value for sticking with this and it would be a real shame to get taken out for 15p when we find out a year later scally was extremely valuable and haiveron was 20m oz+ and gold is $2,500.
I am not selling a single share until I see well above 40p...
People touting $200 an oz are also going off old figures of when gold was at 1200/oz. The margins are way higher now.
With the risk of sounding rude, I think it would be incredibly amateur to sell any shares in this very unique situation over the next 1-8 weeks.
