With the DUP irrelevance, Boris would revert back to the original EU border proposal...a border down the Irish sea.
That would solve the internal Irish border issue and bring Ireland closer to unification as BOTH countries would be in the single market/customs union.
Boris really doesn't care about anything apart from himself and retaining his PM power.
