Firering Strategic Minerals: From explorer to producer. Watch the video here.
The key message in all of this, a most unusual RNS, is that the sharks are circling.
BHP and NCM are keener than ever to take out SOLG and they want it cheap (say 60p). NM is getting in their way. It appears to be open warfare now and BHP/NCM are motivated enough by the story to take a keen interest in the AGM resolutions (unusual). It all shouts interest aplenty, which is what we PIs want!
The pay rises are being put forward in place of the confetti options of years past. NM is currently paid enough in my opinion.
NM knows the way to retail PIs hearts and that is to get the share price up before the AGM, as has been discussed on here.
I also think that keeping NM on is the best way to achieve the most for our SOLG shares. Whoever BHP/NCM/CGP want to put in to replace him will be looking after their interests and not ours.
I'm in the camp that thinks the PFS is being delayed for strategic reasons (help CGP along to their smeltering final destination, buy time to prove up regionals as bidders may want to see PFS before making a move, time release for maximum effect just before the AGM).
Either that or Eduardo Valenzuela needs to be replaced!
As a poster below said, it'll be very interesting to see the uptake - will they raise the full amount or will it be undersubscribed? Additionally, can it not be taken as weakness that they are trying to do the raise internally? i.e. they've no interested external parties that they can tap?
Contrast that with SOLG's position of strength with a new sugar daddy (phrasing courtesy of CD!) on board for the regionals and fully paid up for the Alpala DFS and I know which shares I'd rather own!
FilthyRich up to his old tricks but on Twitter now! He called the start of a new uptrend, with great certainty, last November when BHP bought in at 22p...premature by at least 3 months even if Covid hadn't come along with its humongous spanner.
Earthling, it's more than that. There was a reason his post got 25+ likes at the weekend - lots of people wanted to believe that Phattrader was in possession of inside information. And why were so many duped? Because he posted it to sound exactly like that. And the thread has gone now, surprise, surprise.
It is BS of the highest order and this guy's credibility has gone negative in my book. Fine, go ahead and post your reasoned thoughts on when you think the news is going to hit - join the club. But don't take that step further and deliberately mislead fellow investors. He even went beyond that and allowed it to sit in isolation, not answering any of our queries about it, which would have exposed it as a fraud at the time, thereby allowing people's wishful imaginations to take hold of it.
holding up. If I were a betting man I would say that something has to give very soon. And, again if I were a betting man, I'd say the next move is up!
Phattrader's credibility is lying in the balance here - 3 more days for our "transformational" news.
Yes, well that's true Addicknt. And that would provide CGP with a much needed and very healthy cash injection from teh proceeds of their 7%...still, the smart thing to do as a big cap would then be to make every effort to squeeze the 15% of ENSA for $3.5m. They have the muscle power to exert maximum pressure.
