The Evolution article is not for a sale so much as a merger of both companies, and so GGP shareholders would receive "scrip" which are Evolutions shares. Similar to when Northern Star bought De Grey.

Unsure it is as easy as that for Evolution. Andrew Forrest is our biggest shareholder (via Wyloo) and the 2nd richest person in Australia. Wyloo and a couple of other large shareholders can vote against a takeover if they think GGP is more valuable solo versus a tie-up with Evolution.

I hope bids do come for GGP as they will push the share price up instantly. And a bidding war with multiple suitors would be ideal.

A combined Evolution / Greatland company is an interesting thought. As indicated by today's article. Anything is possible in this game so I guess in time we shall see.

Mid June was a rebalancing for the ASX indices and we listed a week later. Hence GGP will be in the mix in mid September for the next quarterly rebalancing. And our turn to make the indices

Havieron FS in November or December.

Drilling results from EG and other locations. Lots of drilling this year so lots of potential RNSs that could catch the market by surprise.

Gold, copper and silver are all flying so a supportive macro environment for GGP.

Yesterday's webinar was at 1pm Perth time, 3pm Sydney time. This allowed investors time to read over the documentation before the webinar. It just happens that this was 6am in the UK.

Why is ASX or AIM to blame?

GGP's FY26 forecast was below prior guidance, quite simple.

Listen to all of the Q&A on yesterday's webinar, that is what they focused on - grades, ASIC, tonnages, production, Havieron, Telfer, etc.

If you believe GGP cannot do better then perhaps sell. Otherwise if you believe GGP is undervalued either buy or hold.

Insane volume yesterday so feels like a huge over-reaction.

Gold prices predicted by many to hit US$4,000 over the coming 12 months. Then add copper in the mix which should also go higher, as will silver as well.

So I'd have to think that GGP is only going to be worth even more in good time. Hence if a company is interested they better get in ahead of such gold miners being re-rated.

Maybe an offer at £5.50 to get the ball rolling ;-)

I mean it would take a large premium to tempt Wyloo and the other large shareholders to be swayed.

As it stands the future is looking golden for GGP so any offer would have to be really tasty otherwise it'll be rejected.

A bidding war would be even better. EVN lobs a bid, then NST lob a higher bid, EVN lobs a counterbid. I'd love that.

Now that is interesting. I like GGP being in the spotlight as it hopefully leads to new investors learning about GGP and then buying in.
