The longer it lingers here the higher the risk of other large gold companies looking at GGP as a potential target. We are down 1/4 from the IPO price and 1/3 from the high point post IPO.

A lot to come of course especially being adding to ASX indices and the GDX. Need the SP to be as high as possible to assist both endeavours to join them.

Not worth selling in my opinion as anything can happen… either a takeover offer comes, or, the results speak for themselves and the share price recovers organically.

Casper before being up yourself a bit perhaps think about the message from this poster…. Most shareholders have been burnt by this company and one swallow a summer doesn’t make. Still awaiting the grades etc before we determine if this is another Richard Poulden special or the real deal. His reputation is disastrous.

Today's market update is a nothing burger as well expected "mineralisation" considering the holes being drilled/extended have mineralisation from prior campaigns. We knew if they went deeper it is more of the same.

But the key is what are the grades and strike lengths, and at what depths?

Just remember that if a potential ore body is 500 or 550 or 600 metres vertically underground, that each drill is drilling that distance or more before hitting anything of note, which the company has to pay for. Each drill needs to go say 1,000 metres then to really test what is underground. So the drilling campaign is now more expensive than an ore body closer to surface. So both the money and time frame to drill is now more larger/longer.

No need to be insulting when discussing such. It is just being practical after decades of watching other companies go through this.

Agree that we need to wait for the core results to understand the grades, lengths and depths. 550 metres plus is deep and will cost a lot of money to get to if there is something valuable. Greatland has a lot on its plate currently, plus Antipa has a lot of proven resource near Telfer much closer to the surface.

So we just need to be realistic and wait to see what Red Setter is. It'll take a load of drilling to determine what is underground, which will be costly and take a lot of time. So realistically it could be a few years yet before we fully know what Red Setter is.

10s to 100s of holes will be needed so I watch on with interest ref: these couple of holes and the grades to be reported.

Wishbone has been discussed due to Red Setter being near Telfer. OMI is in South America.

Mineralisation surely was expected though as they are drilling into old holes that already found mineralisation in the past, so today’s release is not really news. It really is about strike lengths and grades. Especially at over 500 metres under cover.

When are the grades to be released? They’re drilling existing holes that notes “mineralisation” years ago so not really new news IMO. The key data are the grades, lengths and depths.

Rudall at over 900 metres ... very expensive to build a mine around that. Whereas Minyara etc (Anitpa) is much shallower so perhaps that is where GGP would turn in the future, a much quicker return and higher NPV compared to anything deep down.

We know Havieron as 425metres is already expensive... the costs spent on drilling to date plus decline is already between AU$500mill-AU$1bill, with around another AU$1bill needed on the Havieron development over the next 3 years.

Hence I find Red Setter just too deep and also not enough information for GGP to even be keen. WSBN have a lot of work ahead to prove it is valuable. And they are competing with Antipa's already drilled tenements which are closer to surface.

IMO WSBN will need to keep drilling in order to prove if Red Setter is massive or not. If it is say 10 to 20mill ounces then perhaps a company will be interested, it would need to be massive at those depths to support the CAPEX to get that deep.

Oops, depths given, however it is very deep and I cannot see GGP being keen on those depths.

Comparison, Rudall is deep and too deep it seems, nothing since that first hole.

No details given, and I note they drilled into existing holes they previously drilled that had "mineralisation".... so it does not actually mean much today.
