I am in the process of buying a house thanks to GGP, debt free. Really want to see the share price boom quickly so I can sell as few shares as possible. Hoping to retain 25-30% of my holding after my purchase. Then want to use the remaining shares to buy an investment property next year or the year after. Somewhere on the Gold Coast.

A special dividend is not ‘capital’ for tax purposes as far as I’m aware.. it’s a dividend and therefore income. The only way to realise a capital gain is to sell some shares I would have thought.

At some point the Strait of Hormuz will be open. And oil and gas will flow again.

Mine too. I first invested 2016 or 2017. Average buy price today is ~10p and we’re now close to 40p. GGP’s share price fortunes have made life changing gains for many shareholders. I’m happy for everyone. Each day the share price rises just a few % is equivalent to earning the average UK salary multiple times over. It’s amazing to watch. The equal applies when the share price falls though 😂

Without this war GGP would be seeing all time highs… gold was flying and we were about to drop consecutive amazing news releases in March. Hopefully it’s just a matter of time. Just need gold at $5500 again and boom 💥
