RE: How true this is, I can't verify14 Jul 2021 10:40
Good point Roosters.. but nothing would come of it.
when I first got involved with the markets over 25 years ago (no doubt like some of you here) we didn't have the 'interweb' and business was conducted in the old fashioned way. Of course business was corrupt.. it's what humans are good at.. but at least there was a simple food chain.
I remember the scenario of the 'chat board' first appearing and thought what a good idea.. it gives us another tool in our armoury. Then I watched it quickly descend into the sewer it has become today.. infested with corruption and deceit and the very worst of human behaviour. For some on here today it will be all they have ever known. It's heartbreaking to see perfectly good honest investors trashed and pulled through a hedge backwards by low life.. but it's what happens when the masses are allowed to participate. It's just like social media now full of 'influencers' and how anyone allowed humans to sell stock they do not own is beyond me but shows just how far the corruptors will go.
What has happened to Bushveld is just a case in point.. we have all watched it happen.. and if i'm honest.. i'm tired of it now. Do I believe this kind of thing goes on of course it does. The higher up the food chain the greater the corruption. For me i've decided to sell down all my investments until all that's left is free carry.. then i'm no longer affected by it and will just tune in maybe once a week or so.. life is out there not in here.. and we are not getting any younger..
these are just my musings for what it's worth.. nothing really.. ATB fellow travellers..
