Derisory at 320 ok at 360+. Spot on with the backhanders!!!!
If DK wants it that bad it should be over 400 and let's hope the other major funds agree. One said months ago they will not accept anything under 400
I believe sometime ago when there was talk of a takeover, one of the large investor institutions said they would not be prepares to sell under £4.
If they still insist on £4+, the Sphynx no doubt has the money, but does he have the b---s to bid that much?
Interesting weeks ahead.
If Finabir has been delisted and the company taken over by Wizz Financial are my Finabir shares worthless?
OK that makes sense, thanks for the reply
Excuse my ignorance , but could somebody please explain why, if the shares are worthless going forward, there are a number of Buys over the 500K mark.
Thank you Dave,I welcome the notice of the strike day, at least I will now know what day I will not receive any post, instead of all the days I have not received any, without knowing why!
At the beginning of December I was sent tickets for a football match to be played in January. They have never arrived, luckily I picked up duplicates at the ground on match day.
I am sure many have been in this situation. You are abroad, on a beach and someone comes along offering you something you would not mind buying but don't really care one way or another, but not at their price. They want, say, £20, you offer them £14. They say £18, you then say £12, they say £16, you say £11. They soon get the picture. They laugh and you always get it at the price you want.
Now say the union wants 10%, the company offers 4%, with 10 days to accept it, if not it drops to 3% with a further 10 days to accept....get the picture?
Basically the company knows what it is finally prepared to go to, and if it is not accepted they start to make other arrangements.
So what you are saying it is the management that are causing these delays and telling you what to shift first. But you seem to be missing the point, if you didn't strike for two days at a time the management wouldn't have to move the items, therefore no matter how you want to apportion the blame it is the strikes that's causing the problem in the first place and it is the posties causing it.
Blame management, blame the Board all you like, but ultimately it is Ward and his cronies who are ruining it for the public and turning that public against you.
If enough of you tell Ward where to go I am sure the Board will happily negotiate with some non militant members of the union and come to a mutually agreeable solution.
Ok thanks for clarifying the situation, as you say I have never worked for RM and appreciate your problems, but can you tell me how the increase in salary is going to solve the problem. RM wants to update the system, as well as offering an increase.
Ward will not accept the changes and wants a bigger increase in pay. Are you saying if there are no changes and you all get the increase you want, all will be well and first class post will be delivered within two days, no parcels will be lost and everyone will be happy?
I heard a postie the other day on tv saying they were heroes during the pandemic. Blimey you will all be asking for the VC next.
Everybody deserves a living wage and I wish you all the best in getting the best deal you can, but the problem you have is Ward only wants to bring the Company down, and doesn't give a toss about you guys. Right now I am more inclined to support the medical services who deserve as much as possible as they save lives and not just deliver the post. They are the real heroes.
OliGarch: I have never heard such a lot of rubbish in all my life. What planet are you on?
I received two letters on Thursday, the first in three weeks. Are you seriously saying that letters, Xmas cards, hospital appointments etc should have been sent out months ago? The last letters prior to Thursday were received at the end of November. If you strike for two days, no mail is collected or sorted for that period, so when you deem to go back to work you should only be two days behind, or do you decide not to deal with it and let it pile up. I don't know how your system works, but logic tells me you deal with the oldest stuff first and should be no more than the two days behind. If I am wrong then please correct me. In the meantime how much money have you lost through strike days?
Well done posties you've F....d the country, you've ruined many small businesses, you've ruined Xmas for all those who look forward to receiving presents and cards this time of year and no doubt you will have to explain to your other half and children why you could not afford decent presents this year, because of the money you have lost through your strikes.
Next year will be better, as you will be drawing your unemployment benefit.
But don't worry that P'''k Ward will still be getting his £100K plus, and enjoying Xmas safe in the knowledge he has F....d you and the country at the same time.
After next week nobody will give a toss whether or not they get post, as it is usually only bills that come in after Xmas.
I hope you are pleased with your selfish actions and the take over comes and those that voted to strike find themselves out of a job. Those decent posties that really wanted to work, you know who to blame!!
