RE: Suay Chin, from memory.....22 Jan 2025 19:52
Its been my suspicion that Suay chin have been selling for months. It can be structured in such a way that the RNS’s can be delayed to allow an orderly exit. I would expect more to follow in quick succession now ultimately resulting in their announcement that they are out.
Example: SC place 3 trades one for 3,000,000 one to take the holding to 3%, and one for everything else to zero
Trade one is worked by selling 30,000 shares a day, this takes 100 days to be complete and does not have to be announced until concluded (todays rns)
At the same time the 2nd and 3rd trades are filled, say 5-10m shares per day each subject to volume.
While all three trades are being worked any threshold crossed does not have to be announced as none of the trades have completed.
I would image we will see another RNS shortly stating that the 3% threshold has been passed, and a final one to say they are done.
Speculation, but ive seen this in the past.
Then Licence is transferred and Hainan make a bid. Hopefully any bids are rejected at least until the MRE update.
Fill your boots imo, a settlement will at worst be double where we are, at best 1.5-2p in my opinion
