Greatland Gold plc (LON:GGP), the London Stock Exchange AIM listed precious and base metals exploration and development company, announces the sale of shares by directors and the exercise of options by a director.
The Company has been notified that Gervaise Heddle, Chief Executive Officer, has sold 2,500,000 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 12.021 pence for a total consideration of GBP300,525 on 1 July 2020. Following the sale of shares, Gervaise Heddle has a holding of 75,250,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 2.0% of the issued share capital of the Company, and holds 32,000,000 share options at various strike prices.
The Company has received a binding option exercise notice from Callum Baxter, Chief Technical Officer, for 14,000,000 options at 1.4 pence per share for a total consideration of GBP196,000. As a result of the option conversion, 14,000,000 new ordinary shares are expected to be admitted to trading on or around 9 July 2020 ("Admission").
The Company has been notified that Callum Baxter, Chief Technical Officer, has sold a total of 5,250,000 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 12.1176 pence for a total consideration of GBP636,174 on 1 July 2020 and 2 July 2020. Following the option exercise and sale of shares, Callum Baxter has an increased holding of 99,572,951 Ordinary Shares, representing 2.6% of the issued share capital of the Company. Following the exercise and sale, he has 32,000,000 remaining share options at various strike prices.
Following Admission, the total issued share capital of the Company will consist of 3,774,206,631 ordinary shares. As such the total number of voting rights in the Company will be 3,774,206,631 ordinary shares. This number may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
