I think everyone is expecting 5-10m oz (most are saying 7m oz) knowing that it will be upgraded a few times in due course.

But based on the fact that once MRE is announced a buyout is more likely, and that Institutions may start taking positions, we’ll get a good rise, to where, who knows.

Now im not one for short term investors, but the sheer fact that in the next six weeks we have not one, not two, but THREE Drilling updates, possible inclusion into the GDXJ, commencement of drilling at Goliath AND possible MRE, leaves me astounded that every man and his dog hasn’t rolled in here!

I mean, if i was a trader this would be the easiest no brainer trade in the world right?!

Maybe they’ll arrive tomorrow?

The big elephant is still waiting in the wings, the MRE, that will be the green light for the big institutions to pile in, 30,40,50 could fly by in a month or two once that’s confirmed.

With you soundman, dont get me wrong, i’ll be happy when we trott past 25-30p, but see that milestone as almost inevitable now, just a matter of when.

Agree TomE, while i was personally hoping for 18p before news thats only 4% tomorrow and 4% Wednesday. Im certain now it’ll be more like 6%+9% giving a pre news Sp of nearer 19.3p

yes, i suppose debt financing for £50m to get half way there with no dilution could be the best route, and we could pay down the debt with 5% havieron payment or sale of gold from havieron when it happens

yes i definately get the "low expenditure/risk for stable returns argument. but i mean, once we are at a £1bn mcap, it takes a lot to get us to 2,3,4bn, unless we own a big pie all to ourselves, i definately would not want GGP to start building infrastructure and mining, but im thinking just drilling to get to infered/ indicated levels before giving so much of it away so cheap?

i mean, if we had £100m in the bank pre Havieron JV, and we got to where we are now on our own, just think of the deal we could get for a 10m oz deposit 100% owned. Mmmmm

With the GGP Mcap in the £500m region, lets play devils advocate and say that either Scallywag, or Goliath did hit big, would you prefer to...

a) do another JV at a 50/50% ratio with NCM

b) park the project until Havieron is purchased from us, giving us the funding to go it alone

c) raise £100m by way of 20% dilution 1bn share raise (5bn shares total) and crack on drilling it out as a 100% owned project to sell on for billions in a few years?

To my surprise, even as a large shareholder im leaning towards "c"

ajbennet, do you own your phone? most people dont, they just pay monthly and upgrade, but we used to right? Do you buy DVD's, or just pay monthly and get whatever you want, when you want? but we used to? My front room used to look like blockbusters lol. People dont really buy cars anymore, its all PCP finance, lease purchase, or company cars really, in the future cars will be shared, everyone will be their own "uber" Co. only without the overheads.

When people see the cost and convenience savings this brings, there will be a shift. sure not everyone will convert straight away (thinking of my dad still using Nokia 3310) but eventually it will become the Norm.

imagine your car driving you to work, then you set it to "robo taxi mode" between 10am-3pm, its buggers off and plays taxi driver for 5 hours making you money while you are at work, and then it comes to pick you up

you go home, and while you have been at work your power wall has been charging off your solar panels, its full up and the grid is low on power, so the "auto bidder" software sells some of your excess power to the grid (making you more money) but it knows to leave enough juice to charge your car for the following day. the software can buy and sell power from the grid autonomously (buying cheap and then selling back more expensive)

Elon musk says you will be able to buy a $30,000 car, which will earn you up to $10,000 a year.... er what..... so within 3 years its paid for itself, and after that, your car is making you money....!

this sounds futuristic, but its 3-5 years away and is going to revolutionise the industry.

add to that the out of the 10 highest value companies in the world, 8 of them are either Car Manufacturers OR Utility companies, you can see why Tesla's stock price has gone just a little bat-s**t over the last 12 months, they're going to be both.

Wasred - i just worked for Daimer Mercedes for 5.5 years, do they sell good cars...yes, will they get completely dominated by the EV manufacturers over the next 10 years....yes.

during my time there i went to every training day, launch event, track day etc and there were always "competitor comparisons" so for instance when Merc launched the EQC, we drove the iPace, Model X, Porsche Taycan etc, the Tesla stood out by a mile. then i looked into them in detail (for investment purposes) and saw the opportunity, the rate of innovation is staggering. They will end up supplying all manufacturers with the drive trains, battery's, and autonomous software (they already do for Mercedes)

so in the same sense that I would not buy PRIM to get exposure to GGP, why would i buy a Mercedes when half the tech is about to be super-seeded by TSLA, and the other half is already supplied by them.... i'll just go to the source.

Then you look into their infrastructure (the power walls / autobidder software / solar pannels / robo taxi network) and you see that they are providing an entire solution, not just a car.

I like that, and save the planet and all that too. When GGP is all said and done, 50-75% of my PF will be there for the next 5-10yrs. The only comparison i can make is that they will do to the car/power utility industry, what Apple did to mobile phones.
