Weird.

this is on a one way ticket back down to five
RE: Seems very exciting….Today 16:52

Unfortunately you misread my note.
If I actually believed that this should be £25 a share now, I would be classed as mad...
I said, 2025 for £25, ONCE we have started to pay down the debt.
Don't forget, the NAV (Nett Asset Value) of Carnival is ALOT higher than the actual share price.
This is exactly the same, for example, with Lloyds Bank.
All Core Travel stocks currently, whether Cruise, or Airlines, are again being hit heavily.
I get the general logic, but the logic is wrong.
People that cruise generally are not the people who cannot afford whether to heat their houses or eat.
So just because Inflation is higher, or Bank Rates are going up generally doesn't put off cruisers.
People who travel on package holidays, yes, again, I would agree, but not cruisers.
Debt is a big number with Carnival, I am not disagreeing with that, but the nett debt ration is still also below what they have said previously.
This is all very simple. All Travel stocks are out of favour, and as unfortunately I said a couple of days ago, we are s.c.r.e.w.e.d. at the moment.
Will it turn around, of course it will, but for how long will this be battered, only time will tell.
Rolls Royce, for example, was £1.60 in Sept 2021, when I held a huge amount of shares, it dropped back to 65p......and now is breaking all rebound records.
Will Carnival do the same......geeeezzzzz... I hope so.!
What do you think has caused the most recent crash?
Sun..
$10.805, fordy was close enough.!
Of course, we are now currently at $10.54, so we are going to have another spanking tomorrow.
Unfortunately, it will probably be back to the 7's for the current sentiment.
Of course, I keep looking at RR breaking every resistance, and even when everywhere else is red, it's blue and continues to go up.......wouldn't it be nice if that was Carnival for a change.!
My now, 65,000 Carnival shares are holding me seriously back.
I am wondering if these lot are looking at debt for equity and this is factored in the share price
As Bot hinted below, we shall lose all yesterday’s gain.
it is very easy to predict this waste of space share
down it goes
I'm just wondering if the markets know something we don't about the state / near term future of this company...
So, after the encouragement of yesterday, we drop back down again today?
Isn't that what it always does?
Drinks are flowing, casino's are jammed....
It's only a matter of time before the SP stops being held back, and the analysts up the price from $12 to $20, then $30, then $40.
How long have we been saying that?
can anyone see this to 50p by summer end?
Zelensky should've stuck to just his comedy and films. I see he's already made a tv show 'A President at War' I always thought wars would be better fought by the leaders who swing their d*cks around at each other instead of hiding behind their military and lies. Seems like a better idea than the destruction of millions of innocent people's lives and knock on effects.
Has Mr Wings of Freedom opened his mouth again? not a good day on the markets mostly.
Not engaging in your easily refuted political narratives unless its actually related to sp.
so why did you respond to my post in the first place?
call it quite when you have nothing to back up your point? easy that way isn't it.
It is entirely appropriate to sympathize with Ukrainians who are experiencing terrible suffering as a result of Vladimir Putin’s decision to launch a war. Whatever the level of provocations from the United States and its NATO allies, and Ukraine’s willingness to collaborate in those provocations, Russia’s response was over-the-top. It created a dangerous breach of the peace in Europe and a humanitarian catastrophe. However, one can condemn Putin’s actions and even cheer on Ukraine’s military resistance without fostering a false image of Ukraine’s political system. The country is not a symbol of freedom and liberal democracy, and the war is not an existential struggle between democracy and authoritarianism. At best, Ukraine is a corrupt, quasi-democratic entity with troubling repressive policies.
What does IAG SP have to do with zelènsky? Their unwillingness to give up their country to foreign invaders is inconvenient? Why would you concentrate on him only?
Very Bizarre viewpoint. Its a bit like saying Churchill caused a lot of inconvenience in the 1940s rather than just allowing an otherwise peaceful transition to the new leadership from the east. Could have saved everyone a lot of bother if he hadn't been stirring up trouble and colluding with foreign governments to keep his Ill gotten gains - that churchill.
I take it you have this viewpoint for the other 150 confilcts going on in the world.
In relation to churchill, is he the same guy that admired Mussolini up to 1939?
let's hope puppy eyed zelensky does not ruin the party
generally it hammers down any gain by a thursday afternoon, now it has only waited a few hours to do this
Chris Whitty and his cohorts should be sued in a criminal court of law.
I hope that when we all get hammered with a wealth tax in 2024 he will be the first to be asked to pay for it.
If lockdown starts again I might never set foot in the UK again
Truly serious
I just hope people defy it if it is introduced
Just landed in a country that is not dysfunctional. When you step away from Blighty it really makes you realise what a mess our our current incumbents have made. To live here would be a dream. I sailed through passport control in two minutes with my Irish passport but my partner was nearly an hour with a British passport !!
Not sure things will be any better once labour get it. We have a wealth tax to look forward to.
With the Chinese spreading covid again I can see this dropping to a new low.
