Unfortunately you misread my note.
If I actually believed that this should be £25 a share now, I would be classed as mad...
I said, 2025 for £25, ONCE we have started to pay down the debt.
Don't forget, the NAV (Nett Asset Value) of Carnival is ALOT higher than the actual share price.
This is exactly the same, for example, with Lloyds Bank.
All Core Travel stocks currently, whether Cruise, or Airlines, are again being hit heavily.
I get the general logic, but the logic is wrong.
People that cruise generally are not the people who cannot afford whether to heat their houses or eat.
So just because Inflation is higher, or Bank Rates are going up generally doesn't put off cruisers.
People who travel on package holidays, yes, again, I would agree, but not cruisers.
Debt is a big number with Carnival, I am not disagreeing with that, but the nett debt ration is still also below what they have said previously.
This is all very simple. All Travel stocks are out of favour, and as unfortunately I said a couple of days ago, we are s.c.r.e.w.e.d. at the moment.
Will it turn around, of course it will, but for how long will this be battered, only time will tell.
Rolls Royce, for example, was £1.60 in Sept 2021, when I held a huge amount of shares, it dropped back to 65p......and now is breaking all rebound records.
Will Carnival do the same......geeeezzzzz... I hope so.!
What do you think has caused the most recent crash?
