After taking a breather I went back and read Andrew Scott's tweet -

More an optimistic mission statement than a promise. HOWEVER, in hindsight and after months/years of incessant lab delays it was probably mistake to get our hopes up like that. Yes, it's hard to please investors, but dangling carrots and not delivering is almost guaranteed to rub PI's up the wring way.

Still everything to look forward to that was 'supposed' to be out already. I'm not going anywhere!

Indeed these holes were to see how far the gold extended, and there is gold, albeit shorter widths. I think land access also played a role, hopefully future holes will be in 'sweeter' spots based on the antimony method. 'ore body' was indeed mentioned, a slight slip of the tongue perhaps? Early days.

To be honest I'm disappointing with how November has played out so far after a rather specific 'action packed November' teaser from the PR dept. Still a few days left but feel a bit led up the path as of this afternoon as all we've had is one very 'so so' RNS. Fingers X'd we get a few more surprises to silence the critics. Don't forget AH will want to hit the conference on a high so I feel like there will be news prior to that.

Good grief guys take a time out. FIRST HOLE, specifically AWAY from the main zone to identify further CONTINUITY, which it has, to a degree. If you look at the diagram that shows the anomaly zones, these holes aren't actually on it. They are specifically away to test structure size. They'll most likely slice through the known fruitful stuff in due course but knowing there is evidence of good grades 150m away from the prime zone is encouraging, as AH has pointed out.

I've given my fair share of stick lately as we've had a very disappointing few years but let's not reach for the rope after one hole ffs.

First hole in a new campaign. The 2019 gold hasn't packed it's bags and 150m away there are still high grade shows albeit narrower (on this particular hole) widths. Relatively speaking had we hit 4m @ 2gpt psychologically that would have gone down better but relative in content.

I'd have preferred 'action packed end of the year' rather than specifying November because it's clear many are now dying to throw eggs. There's still plenty of time mind, and the aquisition news came out of nowhere so no knowing what's brewing.

It was definitely stated that licence delays were the reason for JV purgatory. Whether the JV partner is still interested after 2 years is another matter but if we bag the necessary license/s and get decent rock chip results then no reason to believe not. A few years is a lifetime for PI's but for companies it's not, hence 5 year plans etc.

IMO we will almost certainly have to partner up at some point. No way ECR can progress Bailly, Creswick, Queensland AND Placer's acreage alone.. No way José!!! As our gold sites are starting to look credible (even HR3 now!), I'm expecting some farm-in JV news in the medium term. It's just logical.

...It's worth considering that even though we've had a significant rise from lows, we're still a whole penny off the recent placing price of 2.2p. Loads more to go IMO :-)
