I guess the Polish investor you ridiculed in your post below for selling his stake at 140 would be laughing now in his coffin at your remarks as, if my maths are correct, he sold at 46 more than he would have got today, if he was still alive? Brighten up, young man. stop dreaming and insulting those who have a different view from yours. You and your pals are the ones talking rubbish. and one last time: I NEVER said this is a badly run company. I only disagree with all the positive posts and statements by the Board that everything is ok. If everything was ok for this share and all the others in the oil sector, it would not have crashed from 600 to 94. Do you get that or do I need to let you borrow my brain for a few seconds?

This is from you, the guy who unlike me, does not talk rubbish. 26 June 2015: i was very impressed by the latest interview with nick cooper at the 2015 african oil meeting, check it out on youtube.people should be in no doubt ophir are in good hands under nick.everything he says is positive for us investors of ophir and it nice to know we will have shell as partners in tanzania plus exon are close by to on that project.the cream on the cake is not only have we got the oil we also have a massive ammount of gas which is exactly why shell are buying out bg for its gas.This 115p share price will look the biggest bargain of all time in 5 years.all we have got to do is batten down the hatches and ride this current oil storm out and then we can watch this start to rise.It would not bother me in the slightest if this share sits at 115p for the next year because eventually it will come good, and our polish ex shareholder will regret the day he sold his massive holding in ophir. have a good weekend fellow ophir investors.

I forgot to mention that Goldy7 in particular has shown his rudeness to me on more than one occasion. He keeps talking about take overs, the Board of Directors sending him emails that everything is fine, that all is going according to plan etc. What he cannot see (or does not want to see) is that what is a Director of Ophir suppose to tell him? Sell and run away? I remember him posting here when shares were at 170 a couple of months ago and saying what a huge bargain they were. Had we listened to him, we would sit now on a 50% loss of our investments. How many shares out there have lost 50% in 2 months? Yes, the whole of the oil sector, so why buy 2 months ago when I can buy now at 95?

Hi Test4500. Thanks for your post. Trolls are fine on social media, but this is a site for business and money. We are all here to make money and invest with a view to make profits. Opinions and views vary and we must accept all of them, rather than humiliate those who differ from our own. Some of the people here and you know who, tried to do exactly that. They think that by continually posting take over rumours (or certainties, according to them), imminent hugely positive news release, false positive trends and SP boom predictions in the shoprt term, investors reading this will go on a shopping spree and buy more and more shares even in times like this when it is obviuops that they will have their fingers burnt. I respect their opinions, but they should respect mine or otherwise they can go and write somewhere else. To be told by more than one member here that they are glad to see the back of me because I am always negative (realistic, they mean) is utterly rude and upsetting. SP is 94 or barely 95 as I speak to you and they still insist that they were right. Yes, one day we will all be celebrating the SP back to normal levels, but one thing is to buy now at 94 and another was to buy when they were blowing their trumpets at 500, then 400, then 300, then 200, then 150 etc.

In a way, I feel speechless that people who were recommending on this board this share at over £ 5 and now is is only worth £0.97, they still insist that they are right. I have said countless times that no one says this is a bad company and surely one day the SP will shoot up again. But why oh why do they still insist now that I have been wrong all this time? I said for months that Ophir was heading towards less than £ 1 and I was told to go and **** off. Now that it is worth a bit more than toilet paper, they still want to be right. You know what this is called? Blindness. But when there is so much money involved, blindness can easily become irresponsibility. I just wonder if some of the aficionados here who still love this company and its Directors are not in fact the Directors themselves? Only they could defend the indefensible. Callerone... Stop being positive and misleading all investors on this board. You wrote an hr ago at 101 and it is now at 97. You have been saying for months to buy buy buy. Even at 170. Had we listened to you, we would have lost our mortgage on it. I am not negative. I am realistic. I said all along that this share was heading at less than £ 1 and it is worth even less as I talk to you. I NEVER said the Company is rubbish or that they do not have any cash or that the SP will not recover in future. I am entitled to my opinion as much as you are entitled to yours. Or should we ALL post comments like yours? And as for your 33/1 horse example, glad you managed to get a big winner! Thanks for your rude post. I will try and reply in a more polite way that you are able to. My view is that these shares are a steal and I am sitting on huge losses that you cannot even imagine. But every day I read comments that OPH will be taken over, that next week the SP will go to £ 2, that this company can do no wrong because they have lots of liquidity in the coffers. That the Management is bullet-proof... So why oh why oh why are we seeing the SP at barely just over £ 1 you tell me, since you are much cleverer than me. My Opinion is that this is a super Company and we will all be rewarded in the long term, but all the rosey predictions in the short term are proving a disaster. False info about takeovers has been circulating for months and if you are happy being taken for a ride, then it is your problem. Not mine. End of story and no more dialogue with you.

Andreaban... Goldy7 is the speculator. As soon as he opens his mouth the SP of this share, TLW and PMO plunges to lower depths... Only 4 days ago he said that the share would go to £ 2 because of very positive news. And he is still raving about takeovers and all that. My advise for what matters? As soon as he writes on this board, it is time to sell! Rhen hopefully buy again whe we do not see him for a few days...

Quite right Gary. Of course these shares and all other similar ones in the oil sector is undervalued and worth a lot more. But some of the people commenting on this board are either trolls or lunatics. They have been saying 6 months ago that OPH would be taken over. It's been like this almost daily. And they are still going on about it. On Monday these shares will be worth £ 2 according to them. So this weekend they will double in value. Is that why people are selling them at 109 as I speak to you?

But how do you explain that after weeks of SP rout for this share and other similar oilies (PMO, TLW etc.), today the Ftse is well up and so is bot Brent and US oil, but oil shares are still going South? OPH down to 106, TLW 294 and PMO flat despite a huge 40% drop in SP in last few days and a very positive and solid trading update this morning? I know what you say about long term view and not day trading, but fundamentals do not match the SP. Speculators and hedge funds hugely driving SP down for their purposes. Hopefully someone will soon realise how cheap these shares are
