Brent near 62 and PMO back down near 61...
At the same time RKH are up more than 2% and TLW up 1%. Now 3 PMO shares are needed to make 1 TLW. 4 months ago only 1.5 were needed. It’s unbelievable but true. Still sure all of you here that our SP closely follows Brent? Yesterday Brent was 61.7 and PMO shares were trading at 75.8 whilst today Brent is slightly higher and we are trading 3% down to near 71

LONGWAIT,,, As fellow long term holders, we are both long term sufferers too... Except, your view that if debt will decrease, oil stays above 50, production increases etc., is fundamentally wrong and this is exactly why I differ. We have seen all those things already and your view that the sp will increase, has seen this sp at 70p now and even lower a fe days ago... Our capex was over 60 and it now only 45... Production as increase 5 fold or soemthing like that. Brent has been above 50 for ages. Debt has come down, albeit slower than we would all want to.

LONGWAIT... After 5 years, my investment here has lost 75% of its value and I am rather disillusioned... When Brent was at 40 dollars or less, we were dreaming of 45, 50, 60 dollars for it. Now we are there and our sp is still only 70p. This is despite hugely good news from Catcher, debt coming down, banks and refinancing sorted out ages ago, Capex come down massively and Brent having been well above it.

Brent gains 2 dollars and we go up 1p, Brent loses one dollar and we lose 3 p... All other oil shares are virtually unchanged (either slightly down or slightly up), but we are 3.5% down...

downbutnotout... your analysis is very wrong... Of course PMO was going to come down from 147 when Brent started to drop, but can’t you see that at today’s close, Brent only needs to recover from 62 to 85 to go to the high of 4 months ago. That’s only 35%, whilst if PMO wants to go back from 72 to 147, that’s more than 100%!!! Simple maths, my old fellow... and that’s after it recovered from 55 at Xmas to 72 now!

budgiemaguire... Wrong... A Rights Issue scenario always sees the SP crashing. If the insiders, shorters, manipulation market makers and their mates know what you and I don’t, then that’s why the sp is at absurdly low levels. PMO RNS did not deny the RI. But I honestly think and hope it won’t happen, also because I have lost so much money here already and have none left to buy more shares, even if they discount the RI price to 20p

Was 73.46 with a couple of minutes to spare, but closes at 72.. WTF?
Brent massively up to 62.43, FTSE flying more than 100 points, RKH up almost 9%... Even a defunct share like DEB closed up 12%... we are still 11% down from when the Chevon article was published... Mwanwile, TLW has gone massively up to over 200 now and CNE even more in % terms. Today even ENQ was up more than PMO...

Mrd5432... It's unreal, mate... Earlier today we were at 73.4 with Brent at 61,6 and now that Brent is up to a whopping 62.4, we are down to 72.8... It beggars belief... Whoever says that PMO and Brent are closely and directly related, should explain these price movements that have now been going on for weeks and months...

Giblets,,, For the moment we are as low as 72.5, even after having risen strongly since 67.5 on Monday... It's a joke and everyone knows it... Depends what you mean than PMO will fly if Brent reaches 65... If by flying you mean 80p, that's still almost half what we were 3 months ago... And we ere 81 a couple of weeks ago!

TR61...I absolutely agree with you... Whether the manipulators and shorters are keeping the sp so depressed is due to a possible takeover (PMO being bought) or the scary prospect of the Rights issue to buy Chevron assets, this is entirely open to debate. All I know is that this Company sp should be two or three times higher than it is now, let alone 74 or 80...

TR61... But not all is equal, mate and you know it... We are at 72.5 now and after the initial euphoria, we do not seem to hold on to any sizeable gains... A few weeks ago, Brent was at 57 and we were at 74...
