TR61... I agree with you that PMO is massively undervalued. I keep saying that it should be worth ££££ and not 60, 70 or 80p

When PMO resumes this trend of hugely underperforming the oil sector (down 5% now as opposed to ENQ & TLW down only 2%), with the GS RNS resurfacing daily after a break, then I reckon those in the know have a good idea as to why. This is not just coincidence.

PMO worth just half what it was last year. Absolute joke. Zama, Tolmount, Sea Lion, Debt Reduction, lower operational costs. All huge improvements. Yes, Brent is down 20 $ since then. But TLW is worth only 15% less than last year. PMO is hugely undervalued.

Guys.. you all write about Trump, Iran, the Saudis and all that. I have been invested 6 years and seen the boom and bust of oil and oil companies since then. Let me tell you that PMO was trading at 19 and 25 and 30 and 40 only 3 years ago. There was NO Trump then. NO China trade war. NO Iran sanctions. NO attacks on Saudi oil refineries.

Dodge16... I wanted to buy BARC at 138 and RBS at 177 recently but was invested here and had no money. I think if Brexit happens, they are bound to soar

80p now and sinking. Maybe a recovery later, if EIA is better than API, but I think the Dow will sink this afternoon and with it Brent and PMO too. As tempted as I am to buy agaon, o shall wait till Xmas or the New Year. Between now and then the correction downward will be severe, as last year showed. Ftse well down too

When I sold at 82 the other day, oil surged a few hours later because of the attacks and PMO rocketed to 96. Everyone laughed at me, including myself, for being so hapless. But now I could buy at less than I sold. Crazy times! I won’t buy though, as markets are falling and a crash is imminent. Brent flirting with 61 now. Downbutnotout would say “be careful”. Last week in sept and beginning of Oct last year saw a crash in Brent (from 85 to 49 at Xmas), Ftse (7,500 to 6,600), Dow (27,000 to 22,000), PMO (148 to 55), ENQ (38 to 16), CNE (240 to 138), TLW (270 to 176) etc. Brent has just dropped to 62.50 now. Dow is starting to fall off the highs of 27,000 last week and the FTSE is wabbling too. But oil shares are already a lot lower than last year. Can they go as low as they did at Xmas 10 months ago?

End of sept 2018 PMO was 148 and 12 months later it stands at 83. Huge bargain or worst investment for someone like me who held it until a few days ago?

And the winner of worst share to hold in the oil sector or indeed any other sector is? I can’t split them. The difference is that PMO has a huge amount more assets and prospects than ENQ. Debt is what makes both of them very risky with oil seemingly going to the low 60s or high 50s. They both pay huge amount of interest on their debt and need Brent to be a lot higher than it is. I sold temporarily at 82 and hours later the attacks sent PMO to 96 and Brent to 69. The downtrend has now started again and with Brent at 62.90 now, PMO is again a risky proposition. I shall buy back when markets pick up again

Good2behere... you are delusional. You are still thinking of investing in TCG and SXX. One is dead and shares will most certainly be suspended and taken off market after the weekend (TCG). The other one (SXX) has only days or weeks left. Be careful and do not keep losing your money.

Epiphany121... if you rave because ENQ has suddenly gone green and put on 0.3 of a penny, then to each his own. 20p is as pathetic as any other share I have seen in the LSE, except of course TCG, SXX and DEB, all of which I tipped long time ago to go bust and I was vilified, ridicules, attacked, called names and abused because of my opinion. Those investors are all crying and the £ 1 party they kept singing all this time, has suddenly become a 3p party (soon to become 1p and eventually zero)

Not even a question or be allowed to express his / her own opinion. Is that what you think? I lost 65% on PMO and I allowed for 5 years everyone to express their opinion. Krakenoil... you are correct. But then why have all those other companies found something to excite the market and ENQ have not?

Hit mania... you are delusional... when is the last time you have seen a 1p sp rise per month? From 38.75 less than 12 months ago to half of that now, I actually make it that ENQ has had a 1.6p drop every month...

PMO, CNE, GENEL, RKH all up an average of 1% this morning. Once again ENQ misses the party and is the only oil company in the red. No volume either. CNE has been flying from 138 to 206 in the last 3 or 4 weeks. ENQ has gone from 23 to 20 to 18 to 21 and back to 20.
TLW has gone from 176 to 234. PMO from 65 to 88.
