Dodger16... It is... soon going red too, on a day when other oil shares are faring well and Brent is a full dollar up on yesterday’s close... in the olden day’s, PMO was always the biggest riser on days like this.

I can only think that the shorting, GS constant RNS and the suppressed low sp is due to some bad news coming (share dilution, Rights Issue, no takers for Zama, Tolmount drilling not successful or delayed etc. I sold at 82 a few days ago for this reason. I may miss out on huge gains, but if any of the issues above materialises, the drop in sp will be severe. Imagine a RI at 40?

Don’t want this to go to 80. As soon as it gets there, it is taken back to the range 79.5 to 79.99...

Antigua18... so you think ENQ perform better than PMO? They are at 19, half what they were 12 months ago at 38... and 38 was several times less than they were in previous years... and what about TLW? They were worth 1,800 a few years ago. Now they are just over one tenth of that!!! Are their CEOs better than TD?!?

Why so many of you here think that shorting is a phenomenon only against PMO?!? Do you think BARC, RBS, ENQ, RKH, M&S, RMG, CNA, VOD, BATS, SXX and hundreds more are as shorted as PMO and many of them even more!!! ENQ are rejoicing today for getting from 18.94 to 19.20. FFS!!!

You are all vilifying TD, which in many points I can agree on. But no one has been able to tell me what his predecessor has done for PMO? Take the sp from 550 in 2011 to be virtually worthless when TD took over in 2014 and had to go through the refinancing and see the sp slip to 19?
His predecessor has 95% of the blame in all this. Oil crash and whoever was there before TD should be made accountable. The fact that a CFF is our CEO tells all you need to know. A normal CEO would not have saved PMO from extinction.

Nixan. You went against the advice of your wife, son, mates and more recently people like me, to invest your life savings in SXX and you seem very proud of it. I hope you will be proved right or all the people whose advice you have ignored will be the real losers in all this. Sometimes we have to admit our own mistakes. I cut my losses at PMO and lost a good amount of my investment there. But I saved some and I am proud of it. Good night and good luck

Nixan. I am not gloating or saying I told you so. I think it is better save a small portion of your investment than lose it all, surely? Cutting losses is a brave thing to do and in SXX case, in my opinion, it is the wisest thing to do.
