55% of all trades were short, that’s 182k shares sold short, from a public float of 250k.

The naked thievery carries on, seems to be unstoppable. Nasdaq is the worst, haven’t seen anything like this on FTSE or AIM.

Sorely tempted to add just £1k more in the hope a freak fluctuation will allow me to escape with a smaller loss.

But all trust has gone now, anything could happen, what if it goes even lower?

This company is un-investable now. Any play here now is a pure gamble.

Bot sure I want to sell my other good stocks not even £1k to risk losing another K in this utter pile of $hit of a company.

Looks like the naked shorters still have a strangle hold on it. Once the company can shake them off only then it will hopefully fly.

Over on Fintel stats show yesterday they shorted 64.5% of all 42k shares traded. So still a organised effort to keep it down.

Will be interesting to see how many short trades were made today. I suspect at least 50% of all trades again in order to keep it down.

I wonder what can stop them rolling their naked short positions over day to day?

I am only confused why Anavio would trump up 2.5 million now, surely they must also know that all sale proceeds of Copls assets will go to cover the SL debt.

If all they are doing is trying to make a last minute buck and offload all those shares seems like a hugely risky game? Who’s going to buy 1.3 billion shares above placing price? And how are they going to convert the warrants in time to dump another 1.3 billion shares between 15 Jan and 29 Feb?

Seems very confusing why they trumped up the money if they are going to lose it.

Sorry if I’m being thick, how can Anavio walk away with the asset cheaply when they need to sell it cheaply and quickly to pay off the SL?

Still failing to see how Anavio gain here by owning so many shares/such a large % of Copl if practically all of it will be sold to pay the SL?

Hi Hurtle, I really hope so, although I have to say its looking very dodgy now. Since the JV fail RNS its been very suspicious with almost no info given to shareholders.

I hope I’m wrong and it bounces back, but for me the trust has completely gone. I’m just praying now for any kind of bounce even near 1p to get out with at least a few £K as opposed to £1k.

But for now, its still 1 billion shares until the new shares land and until bonds & warrants get converted.

How do Anavion gain by decimating the sp further or by COPL going into administration now they hold even more shares in the company?

If Copl go into admin and fire sale just enough to pay off SL and admin costs, don’t Anavion lose too as no money will be left for any shareholder including them?

If I understood correctly.

I decided to de-risk the £1000 I put in at 0.33p to average down, my limit order on IG just went through someone paid 0.35p

Hopefully a good sign.

I know its peanuts for most of you but £1000 is a lot for me right now.

And if you're here because you are shorting, trust me you will feel better if you stop trying to make money out of the failure of others with stock you don't even own. Play fair and invest, don't short or bet. Its better for your soul.
