Manipulation by the market makers will only be short term. Liquidity is low due to the tight free float so they are playing the daily game of shake the tree in a bid to free up stock

If you are trading the 10-20% moves this becomes uncomfortable as it brings you down to the stops that they are looking for.

In the other hand if you are invested for the medium to long term or the inevitable end game then these pull backs are top up zones.

The future is undeniable for the sector and as podcast listenership accelerates then advertisers as per the previous posts will move budgets from mainstream to podcasting. Our platform steers it in the right direction so keep the focus and leave the trading to pump and dumps

Audioboom is at the top table in podcasting in the US. My only concern is that we don’t get to see the company fulfill its potential.

As we know consolidation in the industry will be our biggest enemy. With a market cap of £80mil we could be taken out by a £150-200mil approach. Could we defend the approach or would it potentially start the ball rolling on a bidding war.

Either way with exponential growth over the coming years in AB’s income, the industry and the companies future looks very bright

If It is institutional then happy days as these guys are all copycats. They stalk each other in a bid to stay within the rankings. If one buys those in the micro/small cap sector will be paying attention

We said it a few weeks ago that consolidation phase would be nice following the move up from 2.50. This has allowed many to top slice who were over their comfortable weightings.

It has also opened the doors to adding (which I have been doing) and for those who missed the first break up to now take positions.

Without a doubt we are at the centre of a rapidly growing and influential media platform. Consolidation is underway and we are aligning with the top players.

Remember the small free float offers the perfect storm for a short squeeze. This has retraced from 6.50 as the momentum dropped thanks in part to what now looks like a concerted campaign to cover the book. The shares that have been potentially shorted need to be bought back so any revenue or Tobin updates will make the bump higher significant.

Well value player and his paymasters have succeeded in dampening the enthusiasm for the stock. They are hoping now that investors will get bored and sell so they can pick up stock.

Unfortunately market makers are a law onto themselves. They have a buyer in the background who wants the shares at a price. If the MM can shake the price lower and collect the shares needed to fill then they potentially have a nice margin

Using stooges should be banned. Shouldn’t be to hard to follow the paper trail in this day and age, however there won’t be any appetite for it as Aim is viewed as a gamblers market rather than an incubator space.

Trump and Fed “put” incoming. So much cash went to the sidelines and everyone has been FOMO conditioned.

Decent rally all good for sentiment and M&A.

Buy back shares. Problem with having cash on the balance sheet will be private equity sniffing for a cheap takeout offer.

Only a matter of time before private equity starts to consolidate the podcast industry in a bid to package a larger player to go for top spot.

They will leverage the balance sheet to pick up smaller companies and exploit the synergies.

Think Palantir, Nvidia - actually just think and maybe learn a few fundamentals other than P/e - very amateur

Showcase has just been given a steroid injection. By beefing up its capabilities, Showcase’s automated revenue generation has been greatly enhanced.

In addition it has elevated it status as a takeover target. By bolstering safety controls over advertising positioning larger companies can trust the platform. Think - big alcohol, gambling, pharmaceutical etc, all brands that are under regulatory scrutiny about where their products are advertised and to the audience they reach

The story is well out there now at this stage. The future is very bright for Podcasting thanks to the world we live in and the distrust of mainstream media

Eyes are firmly fixed on the sector and the importance that podcasters have now on controlling the narrative. Political and social podcasting is a massive growth area. Advertiser are clambering and predators are fully aware that the cost to get involved is steadily rising. With a sterling price tag Audioboom is very attractive
