The next focusIR Investor Webinar takes places on 14th May with guest speakers from Blue Whale Growth Fund, Taseko Mines, Kavango Resources and CQS Natural Resources fund. Please register here.
Interim/Half-year results will be due on 30th, so lets see if they listen to PI opinion and tell us what the delay is rather than all of us having to speculate. V frustrating, but I'm still long-term committed here (just topped-up at this SP) and looking at recent KENV performance and potential, we could be sitting on a gusher here if they can sign the lease before the June financial deadline. The BoD need to pull their finger out and spell out facts of delay...all IMHO
This SP does indeed move v quickly on low volumes of trades. 7 years in here and your loose-change strategy has got my average down to 5.9p. Feels like GC focus is on KENV and would like to see a renewed push from them here - or at least improved communications on what hold-up is for lease. Am tired of hearing the word imminent
I have built a serious holding here since day one of IRON, based on my confidence in GC and associates, so just before christmas (with such recommendations) decided time was right for KENV and has lifted 50% since. So yes, SP here has huge potential to move quickly when all is in place. The concrete stream of news is due in the next 6 months and we will all be rewarded for our patience and faith here. GLA
Annual Report now available to read and AGM announced on http://www.ironveld.com/invest.php . The current major shareholders are interesting, with HSBC at 13.3% and some other big names prominent. The funding deadline remains unchanged "existing facilities are only considered adequate to meet committed overhead expenditure for the period to 30 June 2017 by which time the Directors expect to have completed the full funding of the Project" lots more to read. I've had a quick read and nothing new leapt out, but I'll be interested to hear what you all think...
I missed this (RNS 26 October 2016 Placing to raise c.£1.8 million and Notice of General Meeting). Deep in the text it states "net proceeds of the Firm Placing and Conditional Placing (will be used) for the Company’s funding requirements up until 30 June 2017, by which time the Directors expect to have completed the full funding of the Project." then further in, it backs this up with "the Directors have entered into an agreement with Sylvania which extends the repayment date for the R15 million principal (loan) amount to 30 June 2017". Is this the elusive funding timescale now set - or am I being optimistic?
Agree, I too feel a bounce back due. I'm not able to attend tomorrow, but be grateful for any info you hear - or even your impression of how the sentiment is at the event. It should b good marker for next few months. P.S - there's an updated presentation at http://www.ironveld.com/docs/Corporate%20Presentation%20November%202016.pdf with undated timeline, but £27m and £35m expenditure over next 2 years and first £4m profit marked under 2018. Be interested to know if this is what they present and how it gets interrogated!
I can't believe these lows too and have just topped-up this morning. I'm not convinced these lows will be here long with Giles taking time for the investor evening tomorrow with Turner Pope Investments. Having had a look at their website (and if you didn't already know) this is not an exclusive Ironveld event, there are 3 companies up tomorrow. The following is what they say... "we will be hosting an investor evening on Thursday 1st of December 2016 in the City of London. The presentation will include Venture Life Group (VLG.L), Kennedy Ventures (KENV.L) and Ironveld Plc (IRON.L). TPI are the joint-broker to Venture Life Group. Following the three presentations there will be refreshments, a chance to network and also an opportunity to meet with the directors of each company." GLA
I've not seen the amount of trades we had today for a long time, maybe more than a year, I can't view all today's trades on a single screen. I hope you're right Chaser, and GC comment does mean some strong news is imminent
Good news of late and looking forward to next installments from BoD. Dissapointing sells today. I get the feeling many have been waiting for a lift in the price to get out, as they have lost patience. IMHO, they will kick themsleves when the news gains pace and price begins to rise as investors see the potential returns. Roll on the AGM at end-of-year, as I'll be attending to see if my confidence is well founded. GLA
Patience will pay off here, but BoD could do with jump-start in improving communications and momentum. Am watching Quadrise excitement here today...not going to pay my pension, but is welcome relief whilst waiting for this to start the meteoric rise it deserves
I keep close eye on this for significant news on funding or smelter (and know it will come good), but wish it would come soon. Must say I do have a good feeling something is brewing, but it is only that. Wish I could nip across to Limpopo and find out what they are doing day-to-day right now
Didn't think I'd see a chance to buy at this level again, been holding out for this kind of bargain to top up. Betfair is right on the fundamental four, if the BoD can better inform investors on what is being done behind the scenes, confidence would rise accordingly. The timescales have slipped (I understand why), but am disappointed at the poor PR, lack of website refresh and vague RNS detail for what are the next steps. Wander if they read this BB?
Sudden change in spread (which has been very tight and steady for a while) and flurry of trades. Have I missed something, or has anyone heard anything. I too remain optimistic, if a little frustrated at perceived lack of funding progress and timescale slippage. Hopefully funding news is not far off.
RNS issued. Nothing we didn't all really know. Funding in due diligence. Dates slipped. Am here for long haul, but don't want to rely too much on these dates just yet, price dropped back a little too, doesn't seem to have set anyone alight. Hmmmf
