I myself added more on fri - got a load at placing price plenty of upside here now the necessary evil of further placing out the way this should hopefully start to motor. Hi pal thanks for your post, I share your frustrations here with the lack of communication and being down on our investment here. I have managed to average down to 0.41p but not nice to see the paperloss like yourself. I still believe in this project succeeding despite the recent placing so I try my best to switch off from the day to day SP movements but easier said than done lol.

Government ministers will undertake a fresh review of the UK’s gas supplies after major disruptions late last year ripped through the market, driving prices to multi-year highs. Energy ministers and regulators have since faced growing industry calls to review their stance against building new gas storage sites amid warnings that price shocks are likely to worsen as the country’s gas reserves dwindle. In a letter, seen by The Sunday Telegraph, energy minister Richard Harrington assured a group of concerned energy companies and trade unions that the Government would turn its attention to concerns over the recent gas market shocks. The fresh approach to gas security is a major step-change for the Government, which in the past has focused on the country’s ability to import gas when needed, but has ignored the crippling cost of relying on foreign sources when market prices spike. The regulator has also doggedly countered concerns over the UK’s gas supply security by focusing on physical gas flows into the British gas grid rather than the price shouldered by consumers

Speedy I posted this article and several other's about the demise of Groningen on twitter last week so I'm pretty sure Spud is well aware of it. Crl atm I'm still very annoyed about the further unexpected placing but I've got my head round why it was probably required. As for AP himself he believes passionately in Infrastrata...this is evident. I also find him to be a genuine well intentioned person in the time I've known him and despite what some think he is doing this long term for the shareholders (and himself of course). I believe his current shareholding is around 12.6m which is no small amount. However I and many others would like to see him increase this somewhat along with the NED's who need to invest a reasonable stake which would do wonders for sentiment. Atm I hold significantly more than AP and there has to come a time hopefully very soon where they will no longer be regarded as being inside and allowed to buy? Perhaps after the AGM this may happen? We'll see. Still undecided about whether or not to make the effort to travel 273 miles each way for the AGM which Northfields is at 11am on Weds 31st Jan at 200 Strand in London, WC2R 1DJ

I'm sorry but I am not going to become concerned just because someone may have got cold feet and decided to offload 11.6m shares here. Their choice at the end of the day but incredibly short sighted imo. I hold significantly more than this at a fairly decent ave but I'm certainly not considering heading for the exit. As for whether it's L&G? I'd be surprised if it was but now the unfortunate unexpected further placing announcement is out I think Infa is now in a much stronger position to finally put the wheels in motion. This will succeed with or without L&G's holding. Yes it may give some the jitters if they bailed but won't affect the outcome of the project or the SP re-rate with regular newsflow in the pipeline.

Very sensible and well measured post by DaWaMa today's announcement has understandably ****ed a lot of investor's off, me included as it was alluded to us at the last EGM that previous placing should be enough for next 6-12 month's. What ****es me off even more is that yet again certain people imo have been given a head's up to this placing as yet again a mass sell off took place just prior which is typical across the board, but despite being a loyal holder with a large holding I was not invited like many others weren't to take part in the placing shares. Which brings me on to my next point.....crl I am still in here with a significant holding and will remain so to see how this plays out. I may even be tempted to add if this stays just below placing price for a time. With an ave of .44 my portfolio is not looking too clever atm, I may try to ave down but haven't decided yet. Despite my annoyance about today this must place the company in a stronger position when it comes to the ongoing negotiations. There are a couple of positives in the RNS today but you certainly have to look for them! The main positive is that the funds required to complete the feed which is explained in the RNS have dropped from 2.2m to 0.66m. I believe there will be a presentation at the AGM next week so anything material at the meeting will require an RNS beforehand. Next week should shed more light on what is going on behind the scenes I hope. I said the other week I was going to the AGM but atm I am not going as I'm still too angry about today. Whether I change my mind or not between now and weds remains to be seen.

It's ok JR is just our resident clown for those that know him he just gets ignored now never has anything worthwhile to add....the sad part is he thinks that he's being clever while trying to laugh at us....he won't be laughing soon...LOL

This is also an option to create perhaps 2 out of the 7 caverns initially and go from there. Any announcement at all about positive progress in negotiations with contractors and funders will see this massively de-risk and value finally realised in upward movement of the SP. Am not surprised certain people have been quietly loading up here while so cheap. Some already have large holdings so shares are starting to get into sticky hands.

I can confirm your right spud Islandmagee is....as for the preesal gas storage project it plans to store up to 900mcm of gas of which 600mcm could be working gas and will take at least 8yrs to build. I saw an article about the potential delay for the pipe the other day which could put the project back even further. Infa is ready to go and will take significantly less time to construct imo. The strategic location making it available to supply gas to the whole of N.I, ROI and UK via reverse flow of SNIP using compressor's is another factor that sets this apart from other projects.

I agree Miller and if only they do spot it in time as this will move very quickly indeed on just a hint of long awaited positive news!

This is definitely a great entry price can't see it getting any cheaper for buyers, hovering just above placing price ready and primed to fly back up on expected news :)

Careful now lol...a certain person on here (JR) who was adamant they were attending the meeting back in Oct never bothered to turn up unlike several of us, who voiced our intention to go and actually turned up. Even if you are a past shareholder as you say....your choice at the end of the day

Well shiver me timbers crl how's things your end? Recent RNS's give a few clues as to where this could be going am still holding like you...will you be going to the AGM? Am hoping to go myself, accounts and statements should be released any day now :)

Withdrawals rates in January 2018 were 6 million cu m/d after being at 8 million cu m/d during December, and could edge higher once stock levels increase, providing further supply to the market. "Prices seem to have already captured the expected news," a UK gas trader said.
