I have to say I couldn't really care less what you think Lazarus especially someone that bashes nearly every share they comment on. I also hold other shares but this one currently has the most potential to do well and I make no apologies for commenting on it.

Crude oil demand’ll remain high beyond 2040 – NNPC

The Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Mele Kyari, has said that fossil fuel will remain relevant in the global energy mix for decades to come.

He said Nigeria’s crude oil grades were rich with high global demand and that the NNPC was determined to grow Nigeria’s production to three million barrels per day by 2023.

In another development, the NNPC and the Major Marketers Association of Nigeria resolved to continue to work hand-in-hand to grow the petroleum industry.

Confirms bounced back off 4.8p support and should hopefully re-test 7-8p soon....

Strange individual you are considering you admit to still holding shares here. If I held that view I would have sold up long ago no matter what the loss.

One thing I am pretty certain of is that the Sheikh is not behind this. He's clearly moved on to other short term ventures - we'll probably never know but considering OO became CEO middle of July and then a few weeks later the sheikh sells up tells me that perhaps there was simply a personality clash or just frustration at having only an honorary role and unable to have influence over board decisions? Either way we'll never know. But one things for certain - someone is definitely accumulating here

I might consider my exit strategy at 40p lol.

Till then let's just see what OO can deliver on potential acquisitions for the company and deliver actual value here before making wild assumptions hey ;)))

No it isn't. SP got up to 6.75p couple of weeks ago before dropping back yet still increased their holding. From being way oversold along with anticipation of tangible progress on 1 or more potential acquisitions as well as the looming GM I'd say today's rise was inevitable but also sustainable. This is not being pumped unlike some shares. Soon to have over £1.3M cash in the bank from next week hopefully signalling the start of a news rich period. SP prediction by Xmas? If potential acquisitions OO alluded to are as attractive as they claim then 15-20p certainly possible. From recent placing....

Lazarus you are talking about just the 2 wells - don't discount the potential reserves should the aje field get developed. If there were no plans to develop it then there would simply have been no point in the 20 yr extension......

"Aje is primarily a gas condensate field formed in a four-way dip closure trap. It contains gas and oil in the Turonian and Cenomanian reservoirs and an additional gas layer of the Albian formation.
Gross contingent resources of the Aje field are estimated at 380 million boe. Of this 28% is oil / condensate, 20% is LPG and 52% is gas."

So potentially over 106 million barrels of oil alone not including all the gas down there.

Well put slowly and I echo those comments from investinggenius re the company evaluating several deals. Could get an update on one or more of them at any time imo. All to play for here...

Wow just scanned through yesterday's posts and I see Spikey has been busy yet again over the weekend.
Couldn't be bothered reading them all - just read the last one and this bit I do agree with.....

I'm sure they are cracking on - busy structuring deals to conclude on that they have had in the pipeline for a while. Hence the need for authority to be in place to be able to issue more shares in the future as and when they need it to complete those transactions. OO seems serious about growing the company so gaining a stake in other assets already in operation will be an instant way of generating massive revenue and decent profit.
Plus if development of the aje field also comes off then that's a big plus.

Entirely up to you JHolder but it's certainly a gamble as news could come anytime regardless of the meeting but good luck either way...

They recently held 9.5M which has increased to 9.9M

Looks like a good time to me JHolder - heavily oversold here. Nothing's changed and we know there are several potential deals being worked on which OO has been involved with prior to his appointment. They have the cash now to enable them to move the deals forward...
