In a word Yes. Taken from interview the other day

Q2: Can you tell us more about your exclusive early lung cancer diagnostic technology and what it does?

A2: "The answer is, it’s been in the making for a number of years now, it was actually created at the University of York by Professor Dawn Coverley who identified a protein that is circulating in people’s blood called CIZ1b, hence the name of our company.

This CIZ1b protein is a very important biomarker because the identification of it in your blood indicates that you have a very early stage lung cancer. That is important because the earlier that you can detect the presence of a lung cancer, the greater is the chance that you can intervene surgically or with some other therapeutic and actually cure the person. The problem with this disease is that if it is not detected until it’s much later, then unfortunately the survival rates drop off quite dramatically.

It’s so important to have an early stage lung cancer test and, I’m not sure if your listeners know, tomorrow is World Cancer Day and so it’s very important that signing this deal this week and we’ll have something to say about that tomorrow as well, is that one of the best ways of defeating cancer is to detect it early.

So, we are working very hard to develop this test so that it becomes available not just here in the UK, but in China and elsewhere in the world."

Yes no concern in our case at all - we are well beyond an MOU with that legally binding commercial deal plus CIZ1B has for years been developed in the UK prior to being trialled in China so we will have ample data in the UK to have confidence to roll it out to other parts of the globe.....

“Since the admission to trading of Cizzle Biotechnology on the London Stock Exchange in May I am pleased to report that we have already made significant progress with the development of our prototype CIZ1B biomarker test for the early detection of lung cancer, in line with the strategy outlined in the prospectus published in conjunction with admission.

“In addition to the work currently being undertaken at the University of York, we have now selected manufacturers and contract research organisations (“CROs”) to conduct the required reagent generation, test manufacture and clinical validation to achieve CE marking and/or FDA 510(k) clearance for the test. I am pleased to say that we are working with CROs that have proven track records of delivering robust and reliable reagents (together with monoclonal antibodies) for existing global pharmaceutical industry clients and I am confident that we will enter into definitive formal contractual arrangements with them as required.

“I am also pleased to report that we have commenced a robust health economics exercise to establish that the test satisfies the specific economic requirements and benefits required by the NHS and its patients."

I was just hoping to see this return back to 20-25p levels in time if we get some proper news but there are some serious delusions of grandeur going on with valuations of £275M and buyouts of 90p-£1.65p.....

"The bottom line is, is that China is crying out and needs an early lung cancer test and that’s what’s we’re bringing, that’s why they’re as excited as we are that we’re actually bringing this test to China.

Now, many people will say, well it’s a big market and there are these 95 million people who are at high risk, what does that mean for our business? The answer to that is that it’s their view that the target price for test would be £100 so they’re estimating a potential market of 3 billion. Now that’s a big number, and we had to negotiate hard, but we have secured a royalty of 10% against that income and the Chinese are paying for all of the development in China.".......

The potential upside here is huge given the market we are tapping into!

The second group is actually involved in artificial intelligence and how to bring early diagnosis to the peoples of China."

That is definitely positive sajy and confirms my thoughts on potential news flow.

When you look at the SP it is basically only sitting at a level about a week prior to this news of the China deal so with this development confirmed this is an absolute steal right now.
At some point when we are well and truly on people's radars this will rocket.

I'm all for seeing the positives in a company I'm invested in but there are some seriously deluded rampers on this board who are dangerous to the point of continually using this stock as a play thing to suck punters in and constantly trade off the volatility, which is caused mainly by the uncertainty created by the company.
It's pretty obvious that a placing will happen, when and at what price is anyone's guess but I just wish the company would get on with it and actually execute the placing so we can move on.
Honestly I can't recall a time where I've known a company to confirm speculation of a placing, state that they are in discussions about a raise, confirm it will be at a discount to the SP and them go quiet on the matter day after day leaving investor's to guess what the hell is going on.
Most companies announce they have done a placing for whatever reason and at what price and just move on. Highly unprofessional imo.

"Cizzle is a small company with a single asset and limited resources. Portfolio expansion through partnerships and royalty agreements has expanded its income opportunities and reduced risk".....

It's fair to say that the deal in China has substantially derisked the investment here. The initial IPO was 11p. No reason at all why we won't see the SP head back to at least the IPO level or more

Looks like some investor's want another demonstration of how to lose money by selling low and end up buying back much higher this morning...

Hopefully this doesn't affect potential phase 2 work or indeed payment for work carried out on the first phase.

Having looked back through all the RNS announcements since relisting roughly half have been issued at 7am and the rest intraday so there's always that chance of one landing during the day ;)))

The 2.50p bid price is false and as some have noticed the real sell price is more like 2.69p so whoever sold the 347k shares earlier after buying just a couple of hours earlier for over £900 more was literally mugged imo
