F..K the Chinese or I wish somebody would!
'when there is a load of sells on the board in one day'
There are buys amongst those loads of sells as I tried to explain last night. The price only jumps up at 4.45 because it is the middle price that is taken for the end of day. The indicative price being so wide allows this to happen and following on from my last post makes it look like there has been a fall ALL of next day whereas in a lot of cases it is just unchanged. More manipulation.
Got to go out now but hope that helps. This is of course my reading of the situation and not gospel.
'For every buyer there is a seller'. True. But not automatically I hope you understand. Yes orders are 'parcelled' together from the order book and buyers and sellers get ripped off as usual as night follows day. If a stock is moving fast either way it is quite possible (shock horror) the MM's quite get caught in or out and YES have to cut a position that costs money.
The more eagle eyed of you will have noticed that as did TheOrns the 300,000 after hours was a buy (note the correct spelling please). This had to be a buy because the spread was left at a ridiculous high and wide level so that the buyer who for some reason has requested to deal at the middle closing indicative price once again gets ripped off. If it had been a sell the width of price would have come right down to a level commensurate with real market price. Quite often these type of trade are done at around 5.10pm. Please dont ask me why.
Yes folks I once was a Jobber in the old, old market and then became a Market Maker after Big Bang. I left the market because of ill health in 1991. I must be honest and say I do not completley understand how the order book works but the educated guess work abve cannot be far from the truth.
I would like a white fiver for every message about the colour and therefore description of trade. The spread is used for total, manipulative cheating and as I have said more than once before on a quiet day you should be able to work out not only the dealing spread but the origin of the trade as well.
There used to be a saying(short ditty) in the Old Market by some of the more questionable traders that " All jobbers are bastards". Does this ring any bells with any of you. Yes there might have been a few corners cut or little white lies to minimise the truth but nothing like the gross unbridled dishonesty in these markets. I think FourteenHundred will bear me out on a lot of this if he is still up. LOL
And lastly and most importantly I really believe we are close to something big now after all these years and many tears.
Goodnight
BP
They are always 'up to something' its in their nature. I think you will find that the actual dealing spread which of course is much more important than the indicative spread looks like 2.58-2.67 today. I havent got level 2 but have a look at the actual trades on a quiet day like this and it usually gives you a better clue to that. Hope this helps.

Thank you planenews and of course you are right. Just feeling particularly bullish to day on several things. lol

As long as it's not a bent one...loads
C/B said no???
Balls of the crystal variety.
Some solid news would be good.

'Yes, market makers don't report buys or sells.' Correct
But how many more times do I have to spell it out...THEY MANIPULTE THE PRICE SO THAT IT APPEARS AS A BUY OR SELL TO SUIT THEIR AGENDA. Not difficult is it. Lets try and show newbies that we know what we are talking about rather than run to the board trying to get them to change the system. Pointless. Oh ok yeah I support Chelsea...

Crystal Ball Alert. $ signs would be better!

OHMYTOE
So is mine showing 1.50 (Interactive Investor) but you will notice (probably) that the price showing on your account during the day is the BID indicative price. As most of us know most of the time the Indicative price is pretty irrelevant to this share's true dealing price most of the time. GLA
Obviously holders here know the score but potential new investors/traders do not.
Obviously not...someone on here has aditted making thousands and thousands (ahhh bless) but hasn't a clue how the trades are reported.Come on Gillingham how about your 'lets see if it is reported a buy or a sell' remember last week's masterpiece?
Ohmetoe.
This buys and sell argument has been going on for time immemorial. You have 1,529 posts so far and I and probably a few others would have thought that you had learnt by now (1) how it works and (2) it helps these charlatans to manipulate as much as they like. I have no special knowledge to impart in this share and am grateful to read good posts from those that do. But please, please do not show your ignorance to new investors by posting the same old...the same old. GLA
That sounds like an indicative rather than a trading price..big difference lol
So its got bugger all to do with the FCA is it? Wrong. Believe it or not their correct title is Financial Conduct Authority. What does that spell out to you? The public have been cheated in this share whatever system is used. I gave up after so long because I realised that as usual the real cheats get away with it whilst Joe public gets taken for a ride. Any way everybody is entitled to an opinion....unfortunately there will be no answer to this short term and as I said earlier (or intimated) no one will care when this goes sailing through 10p for starters.

'The FCA need to investigate this kind of behaviour urgently! The Share Price is clearly being manipulated - this share price should be rising with the bullish sentiment and growing number of buys - it is tantamount to fraud!'
At the risk of boring anyone that remembers me as GP68 I spent many months in communication with the Faceless Clowns Accentuated (FCA) with proof of manipuation and allsorts of trickery that mocked the whole system by these latter day Dick Turpins. Also all those that keep bemoaning the mostly buys in red etc routiine you are wasting your time and everybody elses'. It is sickening but all this will be forgotten when we reach the promised land. I have been close before (50p) and was so overcome by the potential of becoming very rich forgot to take a huge profit. (i did sell some). The 'size of the prize' chairman could certainly give out a feel good factor at AGM's and such like. And BrianSmith100,000 could certainly keep the pot boiling.
I am afraid you have to let these vagabonds get on with it...just look into the rosy future that is just around the corner. Seriously, as a now small holder, I do believe this is the one. Sorry about the VD but said with feeling. GLA
Yes fourteenhundred 'Fear & Greed' still abounds in the City as we know it (and knew it) !
My real name is Mumbo Jumbo so yes thanks a lot of course it helps...Jeez God help us all.

'You cannot be serious'. Remember that famous comment(s) from John McEnroe. Of course there are buys in there...there is a very tight dealing spread and you should know that there are no rules on reporting whether a trade is a buy or a sell by now.. If you can be bothered to analyse the trades look at the different prices and you should get an idea of which way they are. You should also know that this lot will exploit this situation to suit their agenda.
The Market Makers think it is their God given right to confuse in this share. They are allowed to ... so they do...end of.

Thank you..another new toy for my birthday to keep me off the streets! lol
