EMS-1001 - Springhill 100mmbls9 Aug 2018 14:09
Calculations in relation to what we have in the Tobifera within the 120m of hydrocarbon shows will just be pure speculation until the test rig results in November.
But as stated by somm earlier
''It should be noted that Pre-drill Pmean gross prospective unrisked oil initially in place for the structure targeted by EMS-1001 were estimated at approximately 60 MMbbls for the Springhill Formation, Â (included in the recent Competent Person's Report produced by Gaffney Cline & Associates). No resources were quoted for the Tobifera target as these were not evaluated or audited as part of the CPR process.''
But I am sure that the figure 60 mmbls for the Springhill formation was based on 12m of net pay, but as stated in the RNS , the Springhill section had 20m of hydrocarbon shows.
Does this mean that for the Springhill alone that by simple maths we are looking at 1.66 x 60mmbbls , ie 100 mmbls of unrisked oil in place.
I've tried finding reference to this figure of 12m that is in my head in the Springhill but cant find it , can anyone else verify this.
