Biblical describes it well. Only if you are involved with the industry can you see the full implications of replacing the dairy industry with lab milk. This is why Mr. Mellon's 10 years and it's gone is so wrong . It's not the farmers going it's the huge associated businesses that would fail. A slow process over the next 20-30 years

Here is another prediction from the dairy farmer......The moment the penny drops that your industry is about to be replaced all investment stops you sell up and salvage what you can. Huge food shortages follow long before any lab-grown alternative can take up the slack.

As you all know I am a dairy farmer. I have just listened to Mr. Mellon saying yet again that the dairy industry as we know it will cease to exist in 10 years. time. If this were the case we as farmers would now have the heads up. Investment in our businesses would have stopped . Farmers would be selling cows right now before they become valueless None of this is happening. 10 years in farming terms is nothing . I have invested in Agronomics for my grandchildren's retirement.

We are small dairy farmers with just over 100 cows . I am nearing retierment maybe 4 to 5 years. looking forward to growing wild flower meadows instead. No not hedging my bets this will happen the question is when . l think Mr Mellon is a little ahead of himself . We only have Legendairy in Europe on the dairy side of things . They have about 6 members of staff and have produced a finger nail size piece of cheese. All the European regs have to be passed. Then massive opposition from all the many thousands of small scale dairy producers that proliferate on the continent . In maybe 20yrs yes Not 10yrs

I am a dairy farmer bought shares in anic a long time ago. I think ten years is much to soon for dairy farms to be gone if it were the case I think we would now see it on the horizon ........ There is nothing not a whisper 20 yrs maybe.

Getting close to 22p as i suggested could easily happen .....i shall buy a few more at 18 or 19 ......without the broker hastle..

Legendairy will of course have to pass European legislation. Considering they won't even allow GM crops to be grown one wonders how many decades it may take. Then there are the french farmers who will burn down any factory that may be built. The shares are for the benefit of my grandchildren.
