I think Hargreaves Lansdown are holders of the stock but you know what? They never recommend the share to their customers, mind you they will not recommend Fundsmith or Scottish Mortgage so we can’t expect them to recommend this long term holding

I have had this share since 1991 and forgotten about it, just getting up to date, I have 5000 shares, wonder how much they will be worth in the take over?

Bought this share back in 1991 and it has done nothing much, what is the update now please?

Yes, that is correct, that is what has happened with my Hargreaves Account but make sure you have enough holding money in your account to pay for the new shares otherwise Hargreaves will sell part of your largest holding in your portfolio to pay for the new 5p shares

Good question as I bought my shares through Hargreaves Lansdown too and have had no communication from them yet about this

Out of interest what are most people on here going to fo when the LOI arrives, sell the lot or keep half for the other better days that lay ahead?

The last few days have not been good and the private shareholders have been shafted with the way things went this week BUT we all still have a chance to buy at 5p and I will get my allocation. After all this is done and dusted, the only way is up (with recycled fuel of course)

Not a good way to reward the loyal investors. A 25% loss in the first 20 minutes BUT it is a good company with excellent prospects and the SP will soon recover. Let’s see if other investors crawl out of their Shell!

Hopefully it will be easy to buy Monday morning, will go via HL but see some people posting had problems buying through HL on Friday. Thanks to everyone on here who has given some excellent and informed Information.

Thank you RichKen for your excellent information, I have done my research too and come to the conclusion that this is a very good opportunity. I agree with what you said earlier about spreading your risk. The near 100% profit I have made with Fundsmith over 5 years has been spread over a few shares and all are doing well, I just have one more opportunity to buy and this one has a lot of profit in it, not only that, if the trials are successful a lot of lives are going to be saved. My sister is in the shielding group as she has had lung cancer which thankfully was caught early on and she is ok now. I have made my own mind up on this one. Again, thank you for your time and effort in the information provided. I am sure this will be a successful conclusion for all of us.
