Bob, that 'final piece of the puzzle' is something OUT has never been able to do. It's was hosted CRM etc, then Lync, then IL2 services, then G-Cloud, now IL3. ITK is right, if you were considering OUT as a supplier of PaaS or SaaS, would you consolidate core systems and applications onto their infrastructure given the financial mess they are in. (again) One point I think you could be right on, someone could come in and take over. They either get bought or wither and die if they keep on as is...

Bobsyeruncle, I think we all understand the concept of cloud and are sold on it. We are discussing OUT as a potential investment vehicle. Also, is it really a startup? It's been around a good few years now and hasn't ever made a profit, or even been near break-even. That's the concern, is it good money after bad, as could well be the case for the backers that's got in early.

ITK, suppose they raise the five million, then what? This company has showed an amazing knack of burning cash. Isn't the risk that any more cash they raise just goes up in smoke?

ITK, you are spot on with your last post. Outsourcery is a huge PR machine, a lot of hype about not a lot. It burns cash and judging by the savings they are looking for next year, it's hugely inefficient. Financial break-even keeps moving backwards, with MRR down on projections. The trading update is contrived, slightly messy and lacks real substance. Add that to the share movent in the last 3 months and the fact they are short on cash again, and it's not a great picture.

Interesting to see how this all pans out. As IT Knowlege points out, it's interesting this has yet to feature in the trade press... I imagine the Outsourcery staff are getting a bit edgy...

KaChing, you're clearly not a simpleton (although you sometimes purport to be) and obviously have great faith in this business. You write like you have some sort of attachment to the business, possibly an employee. What's also obvious is that there are disgruntled ex-employees contributing to the chat. The focus of their ire seems to be Piers Linney and not necessarily the company. That said, a consistent theme does seem to be a belief that Outsourcery is a failing business with a large cash burn and very little new business coming on board. Whilst maybe not impartial views, one imagines they are in a relatively knowledgable place to comment. The share price plummeting in the last 3 months as dramatically as it has is very unhealthy, irrespective of ones views, loyalties or theories. That's a fact.

KaChing, I doubt the main reason the share price is falling so rapidly is because of a seller trying to move volume. That might be a factor but there's a lack of confidence in Outsourcery's ability to turn things around. By that I mean stop haemorrhaging cash and start putting customers on the books, via partners or directly. They simply don't have a track record to back up the glossy branding and rhetoric. Businesses can't trade at a loss forever...

Interesting point Kaching. I suppose the question is can the share price recover. The company is now valued at less than half it was twelve months ago. Good news in the RNS re Lloyds via a partner although it's not done much re the share price. Maybe RNS for every customer win is the plan!

Don't worry Kaching, if they don't put some customers on and stop the outages it will keep falling. If they can't raise some interest at their Microsoft beauty parade it may fall further still.... Empty RNS feeds aren't fooling anyone...

Maybe the forthcoming corporate fluffing session at Microsoft with drum up some investment and steady the ship and the share price. If not then who knows....

As I understand it, it's not just shareholders that want out, key personnel are apparently voting with their feet and seeking employment elsewhere... Worrying times...

Interesting point re the £7m revenue target. If the staff were all working for free and the DC's and platform all cost free OUT would be doing quite well. The share price is bombing because they aren't in good shape financially and aren't putting new customers on. Investors sell shares when they want out for a reason...

Lots of good Marketing and RNS feeds but not backed up by new customer acquisitions. You can't make a loss forever, eventually the cash runs out. The recent outage was major. No one wants a business to fail in this climate but the signs aren't good for Outsourcery.
