It's all a risk! However, as much as nothing is guaranteed- this is the final step of the loan process.
The purpose for the committee is really to spread the responsibility of the loan approval.
It is not to start looking at criteria, at this point the loan officers twould have ensured that the criteria and requirements would've been satisfied in order to sit the meeting, otherwise there would be no point to a meeting if these have not been met.

Exactly- so VAST is either in. Good position or in a really good position! This is why imo for those who can- now is the time to buy!
You also know that the placing was a .132- and if any of the placement shares are to be sold, the mm's will keep the price up for their mates.

Meeting is a go as far as we are aware!

We owe about £6.5m to Atlas at the moment (rough figures), we will have about £4.5m from placement .

Without anything and producing monthly VAST could just about pay Atlas but could not develop much more.

So, even without the refinance. VAST could afford to pay off about 1/3 of Atlas loan and that wouldbe 1/3 less it would pay per month or it could hold off on other plans and clear loan quickly.

However, the ideal is the bank refinance and that should hopefully be sorted but regardless, VAST is now a viable miner regardless.

As a matter of fact would have preferred a placing four months ago to clear ATLAS and put us in a situation to start mining.

But we are hear and news will arrive by end of the week me thinks.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we are in a good position- now! We are awaiting news on how things went/going at the meeting, today!
Now, it is my belief that the loan is approved, but even if it weren't- Vast will have about £4.5m in the bank and as such could afford to pay part of Atlas off to reduce monthly payments and turn a profit. This would not be ideal and a refinance would be preferable. I am confide that if there is a lending committee meeting today with Vast, the lon will be signed off.
If it isn't VAST will still be able to move ahead without such a heavy weight.
So either way we will be good as long as monthly shipment of concentrate is delivered.

Imo. Now is a good time for a top up and is why I did.

I come from a secured and commercial lending background and if a loan gets to lending committee, it is very likely to go through.
All the underwriting criteria should be satisfied before the meeting and this is a meeting to go over the case and have several key people to spread the responsibility for it's approval due to size.
I would say that at this point there should be over a 90% chance of this going through! Obviously can't say 100, but there would be no meeting if all the criteria haven't been satisfied.

Like I said, there is obviously a reason, and my thought isn't necessarily correct, but trying to get an understanding as to why it was done that way!

This might be wrong but one tranche could be the shares required for the bank and the others are for a particular investor!

Not sure we will hear anything tomorrow as the meeting is tomorrow as per 30 November RNS. So, it is an opportunity for those who can to possibly average down a bit and take advantage.
Now, depending on what time the meeting is scheduled, we may or may not hear but by Wednesday we should have an rns!

Does anyone have any figures as to a ball park figure- how much is more or less owed to ATLAS?

Remember as corrupt as mm's re imo- they still have to balance the books
So, if we have a big increase in volume, and the ratio stays the same, we should see a healthy rise and remember a lot of those sells are forward sells!

Yeah- I am sure that it will be better than the payday loan rates charged by Atlas! Probably more like a commercial rate of Libor +5 or 6!

Ok, that makes sense! Eitherway- wouldn't be surprised if it was a Chinese major as this would tie in well with the countries demand for copper and also China's interest in Africa.
But purely a daft quests because I was thinking if AP would have raised interest from his trip to China last year to buy all the equipment. Could there have been an introduction at some point.

Well, it sounds like it's a bank HQ based outside of Europe as they required VAST to raise funds in U$, not in Euros or Leus!
If I had to put a bet on I say Bank of China, lol

Fantasy- at this point all investors care about is Atlas off our backs, new cheaper deal or money in bank to see BP in a positive cashflow situation.
Once this is achieved, the share price will go up.
