Well if people would want to participate in the placing and getting these shares at the discount an ii got them at, well now is the time to buy!
I am happy that the BOD kept the placing to a minimum and if true that DS will be in the UK next week, I could only think of one reason and it isn't Stonehenge or Big Ben, lol!

Unlike a primarybid offering, these shares went to ii. I suspect that DS was limited as to the number of shares he might have been allowed to buys as this was a tiny offering and ii would have only allowed him to take 4% of the shares. 4% is a weird number and is why I think this might be the case. Either way he has skin in the game an once this takes off will be kicking himself for not being able to buy more! Just q thought anyway!

No worried Cops- I was particularly surprised that he would be in at 6am. I called the UK numbet, so was really expecting the PR,answering service or rep! All well in the land of ALGW and probably woke the man up, but am glad he took a few mins for me!

Hi GS- I am not worried about Sigma. I think they have traded the share and personally think that they may have taken part in the placing.

On another note, just got off the phone with GS himself! It turns out that there is no one else in the office and he just walked in at 6am.
Anyway, I had a good chat with him before work and they are very excited about things. He couldn't tell me much, but am pleased that I had the opportunity!
So, I tend to do this as part of my research and I also pointed out some of my concerns. Got a good feel for the guy in out short conversation, but will probably meet him and Danny at our next AGM meeting. Am really pleased and lucky he was walking by the phone (possibly on way or back from coffee maker, lol)

In the last hour over 1% of the company has been bought by pi's! Yes, we might not get the heads up in advance like the likes of Diamond Horse and the rest, but ALGW's model works in the US and should work elsewhere!
Its much the same as reverse mortgages, you get money for your house and you get to spend it now! No food to you when your gone!

They probably have! If they had a heads up of a placing because even the local shoe shines must have known (except us), then it would be good business to sell in the 2.30's and buy back in at 2p!

Looks like more buy orders being filled and will be reported later! I say this because the bid is going up, despite the mm's playing around with the published bud and ask.

The spread is very deceiving!It is much narrower than the published spread. You will get about 2.03 to sell and a PI buying now will buy at 2.19+
So, the mm's are merely trying to fill large buys, many of these have been reported as sells, because they are negotiated buys ordered at the dip! We should end even or in the blue!
I say this because, the rns states: "These proceeds will be used to achieve certain service contracts which will strengthen our market position, product offering and investor relevance. Â We are now positioned to accelerate our business development pipe and are excited about the growth prospects of the Group in the near term."

Another rns might land sooner than expected! I think they have something in the bag already and need the money to start with the contract!

someone sold and someone bought! People will buy in now imo because it is very close to the placing price and this placing (unlike others) is to hire the people needed for the contract. I don't think that they would raise the money with specifics mentioned if they didn't have a contract lined up.
At this point, I would imagine that if a pi wants in, now is the time to get in.....

News looks like not far off at all. Part of the money is to retain the support staff needed! You do not hire the people if you don't have the work. So, this suggests that it is very close or about to be signed, now that the money to do all this is in place.
Mm's might try and take it down first thing, but recon it will be NT! And quickly recover and possibly end in blue today!

As long as the market sees this as a good thing and might mean we are very close to another contract being announced very shortly.

FSA don't really care! They only act if the FBI or US authorities get involved. Look at Beaufort last year! Another example would be the libor manipulation. So, if they don't care about multi trillion Dollar manipulation, why would they care about a big mouth on Twitter? A good example would be TW, he should be in jail IMO! He and the pizza man are always trafficking in inside info IMO and yet they are still allowed to spout their nonsense.
We seen to be very close to a contract and if this is the case, why would the directors want to dilute. If anything, if I were a director and had the money these guys have. I would loan the company the money and then take it back in shares at today's price, later on. Just a thought after lunch!

IMO- people like TW post based on their investment position! If they want in at a cheaper price, the put the company down and if they are loaded up, they pump the wind out of a company! I don't know if we are about to sign a deal, but if I were a director, I wouldn't want to dilute!
So, if there is a placing, I would expect it to be minimal, on the other hand is it a way for directors to pick up more of the company?
I personally think it is a scare tactic and looking at the trades on Friday, most of those "sells" actually look like transfers to me! If they are transfers, could it be Sigma (or someone else) taking a position.
If there were a placing, would it be open to pi's? For some reason, I would think that it would be significantly over subscibed and in fact could see a price rise or shares could be placed at a premium.

Green- I just tried a dummy sell and got quote- straight away for a sell on HL! They are not getting my shares though!

Green- now try buying and see if you can get any significant number of shares on a buy? Weird, huh?
