Final lap in the next few weeks with the outcome most likely to go to the wire....(often the case with these big companies...)as such tomorrow reaction will be part of the much expected volatility in the run in to the final conclusion....one can just not tell,one way or the other....as I took a small punt here not that long ago I hope for some positive outcome, but preparing to cut my losses or lose the lot while fully aware of the risk.

Not much of "new" news IMHO.....the price is what it is (more or less....)because it has been a possibility for quite a while now.....the fact the time is now ever so close to crunch time is inevitable to push the rumours mill faster.....expect sharp swings in the coming 2 weeks starting with probably a big drop tomorrow.....how it will end is anyone guess...high risk so only for a punt,and certainly not for the faint hearted....IMHO.

With the greatest respect to majority of folks here urging NM to sell Alpala as soon as,( including myself....) something we all have to accept is the brutal fact -NM has much more information at his disposal than any average poster here,and he ls looking a trifle bit longer term than our urge to make a quick buck asap...as such only thing we can do is either hold for the big price to come at some unknown time (or not,,,,,,)OR, take advantage of the occasion spikes that we had,and almost sure will have,sell and move on.....I personally use the mix of the 2 in way of using a trading pot, (I am sure most here doing the same with more often than not success.....)while taking advantage of the many swings along the long run....
The latest retrace and Thursday placing,and the current SP is another of those opportunities to make the most of.....IMHO, and GLA.

Poppyseed, I have read your post with great interest,thanks. time for me to do a wee bit research about this diamond company that we just took majority on board....the more I think about it the more I convince it could be a game changer for our badly need of cash investment in our main core asset,and even more importantly will put us in much stronger negotiation position with potential partner/s or JV.....the next 12 months or so could be very interesting indeed after long time in hibernation.....having said that,I am not moving my shares from the bottom drawer....YET....ATBA.

Indeed...Yet,I am expecting even stronger rise next week....to my guestimat most of the cheap placing shares have been churned by now....yes there will be natrual profit taking, but this will easily will be offset by high buying presure....as always IMHO.

Please note my calculation is base on 0.5p price,while the current is actually 0.55p.

TP I get your points...HOWEVER, just a little maths. correction-share price can never fall more than 100%,(never mind 1000% as you put it....),as such a fall from 14p to the current represent circa 96.5% loss....(bad enough....)on the other hand a rise in price could be unlimited in % terms,in our case here you will need circa 3000%!!! rise to take us from the current back to 14p...
Of course everything is possible in life(you can't just never tell.....) HOWEVER , (again....) very very unlikely here...lesson over, have a nice weekend.

No point to mention price of 2 years ago as then VAST had billions less shares in issue.....
Having said that, current MC is way tool ow for a company on the verge of production...
Any SP over o.60 will do for starter,and I think can be achieved in the near term if confirmation of production is reported via RNS.

Fortitude, again can't agree more,BUT, big boys are very very shrewd knowing you have no income and constantly in need of funds to keep going,so you got to play hard poker to be successful even if you got tier 1 discovery.....talking of income I think this is why they bought the interest in the diamond mine with hopes to get production fast enough so they will be in a stronger position once trying to get JV/farm out their main asset.....remains to be seen if successful.....ATB.
